If you're planning a trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne, or looking for the ideal spot before an exciting jeep tour, you're probably wrestling with accommodation choices and logistics.
Arriving late at night or early in the morning via a sleeping bus, then dragging heavy luggage around, is exhausting. And let's be honest, booking an expensive resort for just a few hours of sleep before an early sunrise jeep tour feels like a waste of money.
While it might not be as luxurious as a resort, the MiNhon Hotel (sometimes spelled Mignon Hotel) in Mui Ne offers incredible value. It boasts direct sleeping bus drop-off, easy jeep tour pickups, and is perfect for a practical "0.5-night" stay or an extended budget-friendly visit. Let's dive into the tips for making the most of your stay!

Seamless Sleeping Bus Drop-off Convenience

Many travelers heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne opt for a sleeping bus or VIP coach. One of the best perks of these Mui Ne-bound buses is the ability to be dropped off and picked up directly in front of your designated accommodation when you book.
Simply enter "MiNhon Hotel" when you book your bus ticket, and your driver will drop you off right on the main road in front of the hotel.
This means no long walks with your luggage or having to hail a Grab taxi, significantly reducing travel stress.

MiNhon Hotel is set back just a little from the main road, down a paved alley, making it easy to roll your suitcase. This location provides excellent accessibility while ensuring a quiet, peaceful stay inside the rooms.

Optimal for Jeep Tour Departures & Pick-ups

The iconic Sunrise or Sunset Jeep Tour is a highlight of any Mui Ne trip, and private jeep tours typically include hotel pickup. MiNhon Hotel's prime location on a well-maintained main road makes it incredibly easy for your jeep tour driver to find you right on time.

Especially for the Sunrise Jeep Tour, which often starts around 4 AM, you're really only using the room for a few hours of sleep. It feels wasteful to splurge on a pricey resort when you'll be out so early.
MiNhon Hotel is the perfect cost-effective choice for such a "0.5-night" stay. You get a comfortable few hours of sleep, and a refreshing shower to wash off the desert dust after your tour.

What's more, the hotel offers breakfast at a very reasonable price. For those on a sunrise tour, you can conveniently enjoy a meal right after your adventure without having to search for a local spot!
Spacious & Spotless Rooms – Almost Too Good for a 0.5-Night Stay!
Check-in: 01:30 PM
Check-out: 11:30 AM

Our family of three, including our 14-year-old, stayed in a Deluxe King Room (one King bed + one single bed). We were genuinely surprised by how clean and spacious it was, especially for a price of around ~$22-30 per night.
Often, triple rooms include an extra rollaway bed, but here, the single bed was a comfortable, standard size, perfectly suitable for our teenager.

Even for a short "0.5-night" stay, hygiene, air conditioning, and water pressure are crucial. Both the AC and ceiling fan worked perfectly, keeping the room cool, and the water pressure was strong – ideal for washing off that desert dust after the jeep tour. (A quick tip: always bring a shower filter when traveling in Vietnam!)
After checking out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage until we were ready to head to our next destination, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without being weighed down.

Walkable Amenities & Booking Tips

Within a short 3-5 minute walk from the hotel, you'll find a supermarket, local restaurants, cafes, and even the beach. You can grab a meal or do some grocery shopping right after you get off the bus, without venturing far.

The proximity to Mui Ne Market was a huge plus, allowing us to buy fresh local fruits, like mangoes for around ~$2 per kilogram, at fantastic prices.

Although the pool at MiNhon Hotel is modest, it's well-maintained, and you can easily rent bicycles or book local tours directly at the reception. The price varies slightly depending on whether you include breakfast. We highly recommend adding breakfast when you book; it comes with a delicious fruit yogurt!

While Mui Ne boasts many beautiful resorts, if you're looking for a practical, budget-friendly "0.5-night" stay that perfectly aligns with your jeep tour schedule and transportation needs, MiNhon Hotel (Mignon Hotel) is an incredibly smart choice.
