Discover why Movenpick Resort Cam Ranh is ideal for families! Our Sea View Deluxe room review covers amenities, breakfast, and kid-friendly activities for your 2026 Nha Trang trip.
Hi, this is Eun Dambi! ☺
Finally, after much anticipation,
I went on a trip to Nha Trang with my kids!
This trip included my mom and my sibling,
making it a wonderful three-generation family adventure!
And the resort that satisfied all of us was
Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh, Nha Trang.
I'm going to share my review with you! ♡

Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh
Nha Trang 5-star Resort
We flew to Nha Trang with Air Busan
and arrived at 1:10 AM.
Even with Fast Track, we cleared immigration in just 10 minutes, but with luggage collection and other things,
by the time we took our pre-booked taxi and arrived at Mövenpick,
it was around 2:30 AM.
Since we visited at the end of November,
Mövenpick Resort Nha Trang was already fully decorated for Christmas,
complete with outdoor snowman lights.

I wondered if I should have contacted the hotel in advance due to our early morning arrival,
but since most flights from Korea arrive in the early morning,
there were actually three staff members at the reception ready for check-in!
The welcome tea we received upon arrival
seemed like lemon ginger tea.
It was cool and refreshing, helping to calm my jumbled mind after the early morning flight
and quench my thirst.
Check-in involved verifying all guests' passports,
inquiring about a deposit,
and installing the Mövenpick app – that was it!
It seemed to take about 10 minutes.
Many resorts require a deposit, but
it didn't seem mandatory at Mövenpick, so I opted not to pay one.
If you install the Mövenpick app,
you'll receive notifications for every event,
and you can book programs at the kids' club.
Also, it was convenient because any inquiries or requests via the chat function
were resolved almost immediately.
(Chat in Korean was okay, but replies came in English.)

The beautifully decorated Christmas tree and house
looked truly stunning when the lights came on!

An essential photo op for the kids! ♡
Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh Hotel Wing: Sea View Deluxe Room
When I was looking into Mövenpick Resort Nha Trang,
the various room types were a bit confusing.
There are three types: Pool Villa, Hotel Wing, and Residences (Condo-style).
I booked a room in the Hotel Wing.
The Residences Wing and Hotel Wing have similar names, which can be confusing.
The Sea View Deluxe Room is in the Hotel Wing,
while the Sea View Studio Room is in the Residences Wing.
The Hotel Wing is convenient because the breakfast restaurant, kids' club, main pool, and main entrance
are all nearby.
For the Residences Wing, you'll need to take a buggy to get around.
However, the rooms and refrigerators are larger, and it's slightly more affordable – a definite plus!
I preferred a convenient location without much moving around with the kids,
so I booked the Hotel Wing.
A Sea View Deluxe Room in the Hotel Wing for 1 night was ~$108!
(For 2 adults + 2 children, no extra bed needed.)
For a 5-star resort including breakfast,
the value for money is absolutely incredible!
After staying for 3 nights, I realized this price is truly, truly, truly
an amazing deal!
You absolutely *have* to come here! 😂

You can choose between twin beds and a king bed.
We chose the king bed, and our family of four
slept comfortably without feeling too cramped.
(We usually all sleep together in a family bed anyway, LOL!)

Since it was evening, the curtains were drawn,
Underneath some beautiful lighting, you'll find a cozy two-person table and chairs.
This was our go-to spot for ordering in late-night snacks or a leisurely lunch.

The bathroom features both a bathtub and a washbasin,
and the shower area is conveniently separated from the toilet.
While the bathroom might appear quite open-plan at first glance,
a blind actually comes down! Haha!
We arrived in the wee hours of the morning, and the switch to lower the blind
was nowhere to be found, which led to a bit of a struggle!
When I checked my mom's room next door,
it turned out the switch wasn't even there where it should have been!
The next day, I mentioned it during breakfast,
and a kind maintenance person came right over to fix it for us.

The TV is also massive!
Netflix didn't seem to be connected,
but there was one KBS channel available.
Honestly, though, we were too busy having fun to even think about turning on the TV!
Hahaha!
...
The next morning! When I drew back the curtains...

Is this heaven...?
It's absolutely divine!
Our room was on the 8th floor,
and while a higher floor might offer an even more breathtaking view,
we were absolutely thrilled with this!

Our 5-year-old son, who absolutely adores gazing at views,
kept heading out to the terrace, settling onto that sofa,
and just loved watching the world go by.

Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh Nha Trang Breakfast
Operating Hours: 06:00-10:30
Location: Panorama Restaurant, 1st Floor, Hotel Lobby
When you visit Mövenpick Nha Trang for breakfast,
it seems best to either go quite early or very late.
We visited between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM,
and it was always incredibly crowded!
It felt like the busiest breakfast spot I've encountered on my travels.
When it gets too crowded, they might direct you to another breakfast restaurant,
or guide you to the second floor.
However, our children absolutely loved it when the mascots came over to greet them
and play, so we actually opted to wait
for a table in the main restaurant.
Even with a wait, it felt like tables opened up pretty quickly, usually within about 10 minutes.

I barely managed to snap any photos of the breakfast restaurant, unfortunately! ☹️
Between getting food for the kids and myself,
and the sheer number of people, I just couldn't bring myself to take pictures.
There was a great variety of tables, from 6-person to 4-person and 2-person setups.
The 6-person window tables near the entrance seemed to be reserved based on Accor loyalty tier,
like they were pre-booked.
However, when we went a bit later during a quieter time,
they actually offered us a table there too!
There were also outdoor tables available,
and since it was the rainy season, it wasn't overly hot, so the outdoor tables would likely be lovely.

The Mövenpick pho, where the meat selection changes ever so slightly each day.
My absolute favorite was the beef pho with red chilies,
adding two kinds of chili sauce for that spicy, invigorating kick – perfect for a morning pick-me-up!
There was also chicken pho,
but when I tried it, it had a distinct and strong flavor, likely from some unique spices.

The daily spread seemed pretty consistent.
There was marinated stir-fried meat, sausages, and a choice of garlic or egg fried rice.
They even had steamed rice,
so my son, who loves rice, had it with seaweed.
Of course, there were salads, freshly made omelets, and fried eggs too.

They had an amazing variety of breads and pastries.
My daughter was thrilled to find donuts, so she indulged in them every single day for three days! Haha!
They even served cone ice cream, one scoop at a time,
so we ended every breakfast with ice cream.

Condensed milk coffee and black coffee.
And 'Ca Phe Sua Da' (Vietnamese iced coffee)!
It's seriously strong! LOL!
There's a bottle of condensed milk next to it, so feel free to add plenty
Stir it up and enjoy! Hehe.

On the outdoor terrace, there's a space that feels just like a proper cafe,
where they prepare drinks right in front of you.
You can order coffee,
or they'll even blend fresh, healthy fruit juices on the spot.

They also had Banh Mi, so I had some every day.
Pho noodles and Banh Mi salad...
Honestly, everything was great!
Before I went, I read some reviews saying the breakfast wasn't good, so I was a bit worried,
but it turned out to be much better than I expected!
I thought the yellow fruit was mango, so I piled a bunch onto my plate,
but it wasn't... LOL!

And while you're enjoying your meal, characters in costumes come out
to greet the kids, take photos with them,
and even dance when the music plays!
It's so much fun! LOL!
I'd heard they don't appear during the off-season, so I didn't have high expectations,
but as expected, the kids absolutely loved meeting them! Hehe.

Here's why Mövenpick earns such high praise as a kid-friendly resort:
In the breakfast restaurant, there's a special table just for kids!

They provide kid-sized plates,
food tables set at their height,
and a menu crafted with dishes kids adore.

My daughter was adamant every single day:
'Don't you dare get my food for me!
I want to serve it myself!'

She was enjoying her meal so much,
but I'll spare her the embarrassment and keep her face hidden... hahaha!

Just beyond the kids' breakfast tables,
you'll find the Kids' Club conveniently connected!
So, after breakfast, heading straight to the Kids' Club
became our natural routine! Haha!
Just a heads-up: during breakfast hours, it gets quite busy with so many kids around,
so it's probably best for parents to keep a close eye on their little ones.
Since it's right next to the breakfast spot, all the kids tend to flock there,
making it a bit chaotic!
Three nights at the Movenpick Resort Cam Ranh in Nha Trang
felt too short, even when we spent all our time just enjoying the resort!
I'll share all about the Kids' Club and swimming pool in my next post :)

Upon arriving at the resort by taxi around 2:30 AM after a 1:10 AM flight, three reception staff members were ready for check-in. They offered welcome tea, and after verifying all guests' passports and installing the Movenpick app, the process took about 10 minutes.
It appears a deposit is not mandatory at Movenpick Resort Cam Ranh; the author did not pay one. Installing the Movenpick app allows you to receive notifications for every event, book Kids Club programs, and communicate inquiries or requests in Korean via the chat function.
The Sea View Deluxe Room in the hotel building is convenient due to its proximity to the breakfast restaurant, Kids Club, main pool, and main entrance. For 2 adults and 2 children, without requiring an extra bed, one night including breakfast cost ~$108.
The breakfast restaurant operates from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM. It was very crowded when visited between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. If there are many people, guests may be directed to another breakfast restaurant or the second floor, with a waiting time of around 10 minutes.
The breakfast restaurant has separate plates and food tables set up at a height suitable for children. Along with a selection of dishes children enjoy, costumed characters appear to greet children and take photos, offering many kid-friendly elements.
