This restaurant has a truly authentic, local feel. While it might not boast the flashy exterior of some of the more "pretty" eateries around Montmartre Hill, trust me, the unassuming facade hides a culinary secret. I've tried other, more expensive duck restaurants in Paris, but this one was, hands down, exceptionally better. If you're looking for a genuine dining experience near Montmartre, and you're reading this, consider this your personal recommendation to go! 😎

The interior isn't huge, but it's cleverly divided into two distinct areas, offering a cozy ambiance with around eight tables. It feels intimate and welcoming.

You'll find comfortable sofa seating, and yes, there's a restroom inside for your convenience. We came specifically for the duck steak, so we simply showed them a picture and requested two orders.

I looked up the menu name after returning home and discovered it's called 'DUCK WITH HONEY AND GRAPE SAUCE FRIED POTATOES, GREEN BEANS (+4,00 €).' Isn't the presentation stunning? Honestly, I hadn't had the best luck with Parisian cuisine fitting my palate, so I arrived without huge expectations. But when this dish arrived, my eyes widened – it looked absolutely incredible!

The dish was composed of succulent duck, generously drizzled with sauce, alongside red grapes, roasted baby potatoes, green beans, and mushrooms. It's not overly extravagant, but the vibrant colors truly make it pop, don't they?

The sauce was perfectly sweet and complemented the duck absolutely brilliantly. One bite, and I instantly thought, 'Wow, this is amazing!' I'd even go so far as to say it might have been better than the T-bone steak I had in Florence... seriously! 😉

The duck had the most incredible texture – not too tender, not too tough, but with a satisfying chewiness that made every bite a delight. And the ratio of lean meat to perfectly rendered fat? Absolutely divine! 👍🏻

And the potatoes... what was their secret?! They were incredibly savory, with a deep, rich potato flavor that was just SO, SO, SO good! Like, 100 times delicious! Usually, when potatoes come as a side with a dish like this, I'll leave some behind. But these were so fantastic, I even polished off my husband's! 🤣

Seriously, we scraped every last bit from the plate. The sauce was just as incredible, and scooping it up with the potatoes? Pure heaven! 👍🏻 A taste that truly earns a thumbs-up!

For two duck steaks and one soda, we paid 42.5 Euros. Considering the fantastic value, the authentic local atmosphere, and the absolutely delicious food, this spot near Montmartre Hill is an absolute must-visit. Seriously, put it on your list! 🙏
