Many of you are probably heading to Paris, France for an
upcoming trip, right?
Today, I'm excited to introduce a
day trip tour that makes it easy to visit Mont Saint-Michel,
an unmissable nearby destination for any Paris adventure.
❗️Below, I'll also be sharing a sweet tip for booking cheaply
that I'm revealing exclusively to my blog readers, so make sure
to check it out!
Recommended Mont Saint-Michel Day Trip Tour
I thought many of you might not know exactly where
Mont Saint-Michel is located, so I've marked it on the map below.

Mont Saint-Michel is incredibly beautiful and truly a place everyone
should visit once in their lifetime, but it's quite far from Paris –
about 362 km. This distance can make you wonder, 'How do I even get there?'

That's why we highly recommend the
'Mont Saint-Michel Day Bus Tour' as the most hassle-free way to visit.
Some might consider renting a car, but driving in an unfamiliar country like France
can be quite tiring. Covering over 700 km round trip in a single day can lead to accumulated fatigue that might negatively impact the rest of your travel itinerary.

What's more, if you opt for the day tour I'm introducing, an expert guide
will accompany the driver. This means you can enjoy a rich and informative journey, listening to interesting Paris travel tips,
fascinating historical stories about the Normandy region, and much more during your travel time.

Best of all, wouldn't it be a shame to travel all the way to the Normandy region where Mont Saint-Michel is located, only to see Mont Saint-Michel and head straight back?
That's why this tour includes stops at nearby Étretat and Honfleur, allowing you to explore three incredible spots in one day – offering fantastic value for the tour cost!
Now, let me introduce the tour I personally took and share how you can book it at a great price.
How to Book Your Mont Saint-Michel Tour with a Discount

As you look for Mont Saint-Michel tours, you'll likely find several options.
Among them, I highly recommend the Easy Go France day tour, which I was incredibly satisfied with!
What I liked about the Easy Go France tour is that you can choose between visiting two destinations or all three, depending on your travel style.

Course 2: Bus Tour, Honfleur - Mont Saint-Michel
Course 3: Van Tour, Étretat - Honfleur - Mont Saint-Michel
If you prefer a more relaxed day tour, I'd suggest Course 2. But if you're heading to Normandy and want to make the most of your day, like we did, I highly recommend Course 3!
(Étretat is truly a magnificent place, by the way!)

Next, I'll share my review of the Mont Saint-Michel tour!
My Easy Go France Tour Review

Course 3, which visits all three spots,
departs around 7 AM near Trocadéro Station Exit 2.
Because it's an early-starting tour,
We even booked our accommodation near Trocadéro Station,
allowing us to arrive without a hitch.
Étretat
As we soaked in our guide's fascinating stories
about the Normandy region, our very first stop was the incredible
Étretat.

Étretat is a charming coastal town nestled in northwestern
Normandy, a truly beautiful area where even Claude Monet himself
found inspiration, leaving behind some of his masterpieces.

In Étretat, you'll immediately be struck by the sight of its
colossal cliffs. The moment I saw them, they reminded me of elephants,
and you'll love the playful challenge of finding the 'Mother,' 'Father,'
and 'Baby Elephant' cliffs here!

If you hike up the left cliff, you'll discover the majestic 'Father Elephant'
standing proudly. The breathtaking beauty of nature here is so profound,
you'll completely forget any exertion from the climb!

Before heading to our next exciting stop, we indulged in a peaceful coffee
by the coast. I felt such immense joy, it made me wonder, 'What on earth
would I have done if I'd missed out on this tour?' It was truly that good!
Honfleur

Our second captivating destination was the historic port city of Honfleur.
This charming small town invites you to soak in the harmonious blend of
colorful medieval-style buildings gracefully encircling its serene harbor.

Wandering through the quaint little shops, I couldn't help but be reminded
of Quebec, Canada – a filming location for the drama 'Goblin.' Everywhere you
look, you'll discover countless charming alleyways perfect for capturing amazing photos!

In Honfleur, our guide led us to a delightful souvenir shop where we could
enjoy a tasting of various local beverages. We had the pleasure of sampling
several different types of cider!
Since we were planning a delightful picnic in central Paris, we picked up
a bottle of easy-drinking cider. It was genuinely, *unbelievably* delicious –
I wholeheartedly recommend it!

A visit to Honfleur wouldn't be complete without exploring Sainte-Catherine's
Church, which we happily did. Its standout feature is a ceiling designed to
look like an inverted ship, giving you an authentic taste of the city's rich maritime heritage!

Afterward, we enjoyed some delightful free time in Honfleur for lunch.
We chose to savor a fantastic course meal at the renowned Vieux Clocher
restaurant, famously visited by President Macron himself!
Salmon steak, beef steak,
Overall, the foie gras, dessert, and everything else was delicious,
so I had a very satisfying meal!
Mont Saint-Michel
After a hearty lunch in Honfleur, we moved on to our final destination,
Mont Saint-Michel.

Mont Saint-Michel was a destination I had incredibly high expectations for,
and actually seeing it with my own two eyes left me utterly speechless for the first few minutes.
It has a dreamlike quality that photos simply can't capture,
making you feel as if you've stepped right into a fairy tale.
It felt utterly surreal.

Thankfully, the weather was clear on the day I visited,
allowing us to see Mont Saint-Michel's distinct silhouette
and explore the monastery interior with ease.

The alleyways leading up to Mont Saint-Michel Abbey still retain
their medieval signboards, making you feel as though you've stepped back in time to that era.
Personally, it felt like taking photos right in the backdrop of a Harry Potter movie!

Before witnessing Mont Saint-Michel's beautiful sunset and nightscape,
we enjoyed a light dinner together, then moved back to see it again as dusk settled.

Mont Saint-Michel at dusk offered a different kind of beauty
than what we saw during the day. It reminded me of Rapunzel's castle from Disney,
feeling nothing short of magical.

Best of all, our guide took countless photos of us against the sunset backdrop
from various angles, helping us capture some truly once-in-a-lifetime shots as a couple!

From the sunset viewpoint, we took the shuttle back towards the abbey
to take in the vibrant sunset and even the night view before heading back.
Thanks to the ever-changing beauty of the sky, our day at Mont Saint-Michel
became a beautiful memory that I'll cherish for a lifetime.
A Mont Saint-Michel Tour: Not an Option, But a Must!

Today, I've introduced you to a day tour, the most convenient way to visit Mont Saint-Michel,
one of the must-see nearby attractions from Paris.
The EasyGo France tour features a packed itinerary that lets you visit
Normandy's iconic destinations – Etretat, Honfleur, and Mont Saint-Michel – all in one day.
You might think the tour fee of over ~$146 per person is quite expensive,
but when you consider the travel distance, time, and itinerary, you'll find it perfectly reasonable.
You might also wonder if such a long tour would be tiring.
Personally, I found it wasn't tiring at all, as we could rest in the van while moving between destinations!
So, I hope you'll apply the discount coupon I mentioned earlier to book your tour at a great value!
