Choose a night without a moon! The stars are most vivid around the new moon phase.

You can best observe the stars after 10 PM in areas with no ambient light. The Milky Way is often visible during the summer months!

Mongolia has a continental climate, meaning daily temperature fluctuations can be extreme. It's not uncommon for mornings to be below freezing and then warm up to over 70°F during the day, even on the same day!
