And then, the star of the show arrived: the Pollock Jjim! Unlike the typical red-sauce pollock dishes you might find, this one featured a special yellowish sauce generously topped with a mountain of vivid green chili paste. It was a truly unique sight!

After carefully flaking off a piece of the tender fish, I took a bite. As someone who's sensitive to spice, I found it quite fiery, but in the best way possible! It wasn't an artificial heat; instead, it was a clean, sharp, and invigorating spice from the fresh chilies that kept me reaching for more.

The fish itself was incredibly flaky and moist. Paired with a spoonful of hot, white rice, it was an absolute "rice thief" – meaning it's so good you can't help but eat more and more rice! That satisfying "hoo-haa" feeling of delicious spice just makes you want to keep going.
