Hello, fellow explorers! Today,

for those of you looking for an

affordable hotel in Las Vegas, USA, we're

sharing our personal review of the Luxor Hotel, where we stayed ourselves,

along with details on its resort fees, luggage storage, dining options, nearby

sights and attractions, and even tips on how to book at the lowest price!

First off, to cut straight to the chase,

the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas has a truly unique exterior,

shaped like a pyramid. It's truly distinctive!

And the hotel's interior, being inside this pyramid-shaped

building, means the windows are quite unique, too.

Even the inclinators (elevators that go up at an angle) are distinctive.

I personally found it really fun! LOL

As for the room condition, it was similar to other

hotels in Las Vegas, but it was a bit more spacious. And because

it's located a bit south of the main Strip, it felt less crowded,

which I personally really liked!

1. Las Vegas Affordable Hotel: Luxor Hotel Room Review & Location

First off, the Luxor Hotel, famous as an

affordable option on the Las Vegas Strip, is

an Egyptian pyramid-themed hotel!

Located on the south end of the Strip,

it's one of those hotels that really stands out with a sphinx guarding its

exterior. The rooms are also quite unique due to the pyramid structure,

with the window side slightly angled, which I thought was a pretty

cool feature!

The reason we chose the Luxor as our affordable Las Vegas hotel was because we wanted to divide the main Strip into three sections –

middle, top, and bottom – to make hotel tours easier. When we looked into options for the south section,

the Luxor seemed like a great value-for-money choice,

so we booked it.

In reality, both the location and the room condition were excellent.

Also, since it's a hotel located further down from the central

part of the main Strip, it was less crowded, making the pool area pleasant,

and overall, it felt like a great choice!

First off, let's talk about Las Vegas hotel prices...

The price you see when booking isn't the final one.

When we first booked a Las Vegas hotel,

the price seemed so low that we thought,

"Wait, is this right?" Turns out, you have to pay

an additional resort fee at the accommodation.

Most hotels on the Las Vegas Main Strip

had resort fees, and

the Luxor Hotel's resort fee was $45,

which was cheaper than those in the heart of the Main Strip.

And for those heading to a Grand Canyon tour

from the Luxor Hotel, here's a quick tip about luggage storage:

There's a separate line for

BAGGAGE ASSISTANCE luggage storage

in the lobby.

Guests can use it for free,

but it's generally good practice to give a small tip.

When you store your luggage, they'll give you a paper ticket.

Keep it safe, and when you're ready to pick up your bags,

scan that ticket at the luggage storage machine,

and a staff member will retrieve them for you.

The Luxor Hotel's breakfast reviews weren't great,

so we didn't opt for it. Instead, you'll find a

collection of restaurants on the 2nd floor of the Luxor Hotel.

3. Top Tips for Booking the Luxor Hotel at the Lowest Price

We decided to compare prices for the Luxor Hotel,

the value-for-money Las Vegas hotel we stayed at.

First, when checking the final price including taxes

for the same weekday dates, we found that Yeogi Eottae

offered the cheapest booking!

Also, since Agoda and Trip.com are international platforms,

problems with bookings can often lead to inconvenience.

Booking through Yeogi Eottae seems to alleviate

some of those worries, which is great.
