Las Vegas Sphere Review (2026): Wizard of Oz Seats & Tickets

When planning our family trip to Las Vegas, seeing a show at The Sphere was an absolute must-do!

But as I started adding up the ticket prices for our whole family, the total quickly grew quite large. I hesitated at the payment button, wondering if it would truly be worth the cost.

‘Will it be entertaining enough for this price?’

‘Will everyone in the family enjoy it?’

‘Which seats offer the best view of the screen?’

I had so many questions, so I searched for reviews and decided to experience 'The Wizard of Oz' show for myself!

I'll share my thoughts on the show, recommend the best seats, and explain where to find discounted tickets.

Las Vegas Sphere 'The Wizard of Oz' Show Review

Our seats were in Section 304, Row 2. While not perfectly centered, the view of the screen was more than adequate, and we were quite satisfied throughout the entire show!

The dome-shaped screen completely fills your vision, extending all the way overhead. It felt less like watching a movie and more like being immersed within the scene itself. The Sphere's overwhelming visual experience was truly impressive.

During the performance, there's a scene where apples appear to fall into the audience.

Unfortunately, our seats weren't in the 'apple-dropping' zone, which left the kids a little disappointed, haha!

Nevertheless, the visuals and effects were so vivid that our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Tips for Choosing Your Spot

The Sphere's screen is incredibly vast, so your seating choice can significantly impact your viewing experience!

For the **best seats** at the Las Vegas Sphere, sections **305, 306, 307, and 406** are widely recommended.

Among these, **P1 Section 306** is considered the absolute prime spot, which, unfortunately, also makes it the most expensive. 😂

If you're looking for a balance of **great views and value**, consider sections **304, 308, 405, and 407**. These spots are less expensive than the prime central sections but still offer an expansive view of the dome screen.

Since our family of six was attending, the cost of prime seats was a bit much. So, we opted for the **value-for-money P3 Section 304**.

Although it wasn't perfectly centered, we had no discomfort viewing the screen and thoroughly enjoyed the show, making it a very satisfying choice.

On the other hand, the 200-level sections are on the lowest floor and closer to the screen. To see the entire dome screen, you might have to crane your neck quite a bit.

Therefore, I think the 400-level sections might offer a more comfortable experience for viewing the screen at a glance, compared to the 200-level.
