My La Siesta Hoi An Resort Review,
A Highly Recommended Family-Friendly Stay with Gorgeous Pools
La Siesta Hoi An Resort
Written & Photographed by Uguri

When planning a trip combining Da Nang and Hoi An,
it’s always a dilemma: do you choose a convenient hotel right in the action,
or a relaxing resort where you can completely unwind?
Since I was traveling with my parents,
I meticulously compared everything—from the ease of getting around
to room condition, breakfast options, and of course, the swimming pools.
That's how I ended up choosing
La Siesta Hoi An Resort!
Having stayed there myself, it was the perfect base for enjoying both
sightseeing in the Ancient Town and relaxing at the resort.
It turned out to be an incredibly satisfying choice for a family getaway.
Today, I’m excited to share a detailed look at everything from the rooms
and breakfast to the four incredible swimming pools!
A Peaceful Haven Radiating Authentic Hoi An Vibes

La Siesta Hoi An Resort is
relatively close to Hoi An Ancient Town, yet the surrounding
area remains wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
Unlike busy downtown hotels, it’s surrounded by
lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens.
The moment you step inside, an instant wave of calm washes over you.

The lobby, with its dark wood accents and warm lighting,
exudes a classic, vintage charm.
Even walking to our room felt like strolling through
a quaint little garden.
The resort's layout isn't overwhelmingly massive, which was a huge plus
since my parents didn't have to walk too far to get around.

They do run shuttles to both the Ancient Town and An Bang Beach,
but since schedules and frequency are fixed,
I highly recommend checking the timetable at front desk when you check in! :)
The midday heat can be quite intense, so we found it
much easier to mix in Grab rides instead of walking everywhere!
Planning a Family Trip? Be Sure to Check the Room Location

La Siesta Hoi An Resort is
divided into the Classic Wing and the Club Wing.
The Classic Wing beautifully captures Vietnam's signature vintage,
traditional charm, while the Club Wing is perfect for those who prefer
newer facilities and a slightly more spacious, modern vibe.

The Classic Junior Suite I stayed in
featured a lovely blend of ethnic-patterned tiles and warm wooden furniture.
I particularly loved the layout, with the bathroom seamlessly connecting
right next to the bedroom.

The bedding was incredibly plush, and the overall cleanliness—
especially the bathroom—was immaculate, making it a super comfortable stay for my parents.

As a sweet touch, I had let the resort know in advance that we were celebrating
my mom's birthday, and they surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the room.
It was such an unexpected, thoughtful gesture
that got our trip off to the absolute best start.

From the rocking chair on our private terrace, we had a
gorgeous view overlooking the pool and gardens.
In the evenings, we ordered some local delivery and paired it with cold beers
for a relaxing night in. Honestly, you can fully enjoy a
staycation vibe without even leaving the resort.

La Siesta Hoi An Resort features both the Classic Wing and the Club Wing,
Prices can vary quite a bit depending on the room view.
If you're planning a family trip, we highly recommend checking the bed configuration and breakfast inclusion
before booking.
As your travel dates get closer, the options for popular rooms
will become limited. Once your travel itinerary is set,
be sure to check current rates and room availability first!

A Resort-Style Haven That's Gorgeous Day and Night
The absolute biggest reason I want to recommend
this place for a family getaway is that there are as many as 4 swimming pools!
Because guests don't all crowd into one pool, you can choose
the perfect pool vibe to match your travel style.

Right next to the lobby is the Fresh Water Pool, beautifully integrated with the garden,
while the spacious, deep Salt Water Pool is perfect for those
who want to fully enjoy a proper swim.

Since some sections can be quite deep,
kids and those who aren't strong swimmers
should definitely check the depth before getting in.
Enjoying some pizza and beer after a swim
while relaxing was absolute heaven..🥹

There is also a dedicated Kids Pool perfect for children,
and the Infinity Pool looking out over the rice fields and garden
is the ultimate spot to soak in Hoi An's signature
peaceful, laid-back vibe.

During the day, the lush green gardens and palm trees look so refreshing,
while at night, the soft, warm lighting around the pool lights up
to create a completely different, magical atmosphere.

If you stay in a poolside room,
heading straight back to your room after a swim is incredibly convenient.

Breakfast: A Diverse Spread From Fresh Pho to Korean Dishes

We all know breakfast is a make-or-break part of any vacation, right?
The breakfast at La Siesta Hoi An Resort has such a wide
variety of tropical fruits, freshly baked goods, salads, and warm dishes
that it's easy to satisfy everyone's taste buds.

The fruits like mango and pineapple were incredibly fresh,
and the made-to-order pho and omelets were absolute standouts.

They even have comfort foods like kimchi and kimbap,
making it easy and enjoyable even for families
traveling with parents and kids.

Keep in mind that the Club Wing and Classic Wing might have different
designated breakfast venues, so be sure to double-check
your designated location based on your room booking.
We absolutely loved being able to take our time
and enjoy a slow, relaxing morning :)
A Place I Can’t Wait to Revisit with My Family

To sum it up, La Siesta Hoi An is
the perfect choice for those who want to enjoy both Old Town sightseeing and resort relaxation.
It's a fantastic place to stay.
With its 4 incredible swimming pools, immaculate rooms, eco-friendly vibe,
and a delicious breakfast that parents can easily enjoy,
it has everything you could ask for. Choosing this place
for our family getaway was definitely the best decision.

Instead of just rushing through the sights in Hoi An, if you want to enjoy some pool time
and truly unwind and relax, this resort is definitely worth keeping on your radar.
If I ever visit Hoi An again with my parents,
this is absolutely the place I'd want to stay!

During weekends and peak seasons, because it's so popular with families,
the rooms with the best views and extra comfort
tend to book up pretty quickly.
Once your travel dates are locked in,
I highly recommend checking the rates and options ahead of time
while your dream room is still available.

If you're planning a family getaway like I did,
take your time to compare the room layouts and bed configurations,
and book early for total peace of mind :)
