When deciding where to go for the perfect summer getaway,
I couldn't resist heading back to Bali again this year!

Bali was so magical last year
that choosing it again was a no-brainer.
Since it's over a 7-hour flight,
I booked Korean Air without hesitation for maximum comfort.
Now that the tickets are officially booked,
it finally feels real!
As a meticulous planner (total Type J),
I'm already so excited to map out our itinerary.
Last year, we had an incredibly tight schedule,
constantly moving from Gili to Ubud, and then Jimbaran
all within a short 4-night, 6-day trip.
This time, we have a slightly longer 5-night, 7-day itinerary,
and since last year was so exhausting,
we are planning a much more relaxed pace.
We want to explore areas we missed last time,
focusing mostly on Canggu and Seminyak.
But Nusa Lembongan is also catching my eye...
I might have to hop on a boat again! Haha.
I'll need to think about the itinerary a bit more.
Last year, we traveled in May.
I managed to score Korean Air tickets in the ~$380 range,
and with an extra charge for exit row seats,
the total came to around ~$510.
I wanted to book exit row seats again this time,
but they were already completely sold out...

While platform D seemed to be the cheapest at first,
