When choosing, I had three main questions:
First, could I walk to the night market? Second, how were the breakfast and the view? Third, could I rent a scooter on-site? |
The hotel is super conveniently located, just a 7-minute walk to the Koh Larn night market. It was perfect for a late-night stroll!
Even better, it's only a 10-minute walk to Na Ban Pier, so you don't have to stress about catching your ferry.
Easy access to amenities is always a plus when traveling. Near the Koh Larn night market, you'll find convenience stores and a fantastic array of fresh seafood restaurants.
The room offered an incredible, expansive ocean view, looking directly across to Pattaya. Imagine waking up to that!
The bed faces the ocean, providing stunning sunset and sunrise views right from your room.
Waking up and stepping straight into the pool, with the ocean stretching out before you, was truly unique and refreshing.
But the real highlight? Floating breakfast! They bring your meal right to you on a tray in the pool – talk about an unforgettable experience!
The breakfast menu offered a good mix, including a mild soup with meatballs (not too spicy for Western palates) and a classic American-style breakfast. Something for everyone!
To be honest, the rooms aren't huge – they're on the smaller side. However, for an island getaway, it offers incredible value, especially compared to typical rooms costing ~$150-$220 per night elsewhere.
The private and cozy atmosphere made it totally worth it for a relaxing stay.
Koh Larn is an island, so to explore its famous beaches and attractions, you'll need to use a songthaew (shared taxi) or a scooter. I highly recommend renting a scooter for the freedom to explore at your own pace. The best part? You can rent one directly from the hotel, so no worries there!
