Surf & Turf Beach Club Pattaya Review 2026: Sunset Seafood Dinner

Whenever I travel to any region,

I always seek out places where I can truly immerse myself in

the city's nightscape up close.

If I had to pick just one truly unforgettable moment

from this Thailand trip, it would undoubtedly be that magical evening spent sitting on the white sands of Pattaya Beach,

listening to the gentle lapping of waves and savoring a delicious Pattaya seafood feast.

Getting There

The wonderful spot I discovered that day was right on the beach:

It's nestled a little away from the bustling city center,

which means it's much less crowded and offers a wonderfully relaxed vibe.

The path leading to the entrance was adorned with charming mint-striped

rattan parasols, and with the expansive, open ocean view,

the atmosphere was simply unparalleled!

Here's a ❗Pro Tip for you:

I highly recommend arriving around 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

This way, you can witness the glorious sunset right before your eyes,

and as darkness falls, enjoy the magical moment when the string lights twinkle on,

one by one.

From this time onwards, the place really starts to fill up,

so if you're hoping for a prime spot right by the ocean, I suggest arriving a bit earlier

or making a reservation in advance.

A Pattaya Seafood Feast on the Sand

After finding our perfect spot, we started by ordering a refreshing beer,

then took our time perusing the menu and picking out our dishes.

The first dish to arrive was Som Tum.

The crunchy papaya salad had a delightful nutty crunch from the peanuts,

and the tangy, spicy fish sauce dressing really got my appetite going.

The staff member asked if I was okay with spicy food.

Of course! Isn't that the whole charm of Som Tum?

It was perfect for cleansing the palate between the heavier dishes that followed.

The most memorable dish of the day was...

Garlic Crunch Fried Mantis Shrimp.

If you're thinking of seafood in Pattaya, this is exactly the kind of dish that comes to mind. It's a crispy fried crustacean piled high with golden garlic flakes.

You just scoop out the meat, dip it in the sauce,

and top it with those garlic flakes.

Honestly, the garlic flakes were delicious enough to eat on their own!

The shell was packed with succulent meat,

and dipping it in the spicy, zesty chili sauce created an explosion of crispiness and umami.

I seriously couldn't think of a better beachside beer snack.

Since seafood alone might leave you wanting a little more,

we also ordered a beef steak.

Black Angus Steak

It was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender,

and served with a rich gravy and creamy mashed potatoes,

making for a truly satisfying meal.

I think adding some fried rice with this would have been fantastic too.

And to finish, sweet mini waffles!

Crispy waffles drizzled with chocolate

and topped with colorful sprinkles,

made for a delightful end to our meal.

In a hot country, a sweet dessert is an absolute must, wouldn't you agree?

Satisfied with both Price and Service

Honestly, I thought ocean view spots like this would usually be quite expensive due to the ambiance,

but considering the Pattaya beach view right before our eyes and the fresh seafood quality,

the prices were actually quite reasonable.

Even when it got busy, the staff members still took care of us with smiles,

From start to finish, I felt utterly pampered and at ease.

At one point, I even asked them to snap a few photos for me,

and they so kindly took some fantastic shots!

Look closely, and you can spot the vibrant neon signs of Pattaya City glittering in the distance.

Can you make out the moon and stars twinkling in the night sky?

That star nestled right under the crescent moon

sparkled so brightly, making Pattaya's night even more magnificent.

Let's be real, a trip to Pattaya is all about hitting pause on our complicated daily lives and

immersing ourselves in the soothing sound of the waves, right?
