KIMSOO had been on my radar long before my Bali trip, thanks to its reputation as a stylish and inspiring home decor haven. Imagine my delight when I discovered our hotel in Seminyak was literally right next door! We're talking less than a one-minute walk – just a fence separated us. As soon as we checked in, I knew this place was a non-negotiable stop on our itinerary.
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, we decided a little retail therapy was the perfect way to digest and start the day.

From the moment you step through the entrance, you're enveloped in a world of curated style. The tables, parasols, and even the striking black and white floor tiles set an instantly chic and inviting atmosphere.

Since KIMSOO operates as both a home decor shop and a cafe, it's the perfect spot to leisurely browse while sipping on a refreshing drink. We had just finished breakfast, so we didn't indulge in the cafe offerings this time, but it's definitely on my list for a future visit!

You'll find a fantastic array of Balinese-inspired designs, from luxurious bedding and stylish lighting to an abundance of gorgeous rattan accessories. It's a treasure trove for anyone looking to bring a piece of Bali's serene aesthetic into their home.

The selection of rattan items, in particular, is stunning!

Honestly, I found so many pieces I wanted for my own home that I seriously considered asking about international shipping! It was a genuine struggle to decide what to leave behind.
For anyone who loves interior design, consider yourselves warned: you might want to leave your wallet at home... or at least set a strict budget. It's nearly impossible to walk out of KIMSOO empty-handed!

They also feature a lovely selection of straw and rattan bags, perfect for adding that Balinese touch to your wardrobe. Tucked away at the back, there's even a beautiful pool, though it seems more for ambiance than for public use.

Every single item at KIMSOO is thoughtfully curated and aesthetically pleasing. I initially planned a quick browse, but I quickly lost track of time, completely absorbed in the wonderful shopping experience!

Even their payment cards are beautifully designed, adding to the overall chic vibe of KIMSOO. So, what did I end up taking home?

Here are my fabulous finds:
KIMSOO Shopping Haul

Rattan Coaster: IDR 40,000 (each)
Beaded Coaster: IDR 80,000 (each)
Shell Accessory Holder: IDR 60,000 - IDR 120,000 (each)
Palm Tree Cutlery: IDR 100,000 (each)
I picked these up as wonderful Bali souvenirs and gifts for friends and family back home. While not the cheapest by local Bali standards, the prices are quite reasonable for unique, high-quality souvenirs, making them a worthwhile splurge!

I especially love the shell-shaped jewelry holders! I gifted most of them, but I kept one for myself, and it's a perfect reminder of my incredible Bali trip. These truly make for fantastic mementos.
If you're wondering what souvenirs or gifts to buy in Bali, I highly recommend a visit to KIMSOO when you're in Seminyak. You won't be disappointed!
