Hotel Dongtan Bella Review: Airport Bus Stop & Dongtan Station

Ever booked an early morning flight, only to realize your airport bus departs at 5 AM and the stop is a 10-minute drive from home? Been there! Facing the dilemma of potentially missing a taxi at that hour, I opted for a smart solution: a one-night stay at a hotel right by the airport bus stop in Dongtan.

Whether you're catching an early flight or on a business trip to Dongtan, finding convenient accommodation is key. That's why I'm excited to share my review of Hotel Dongtan Bella – let's dive in!

Hotel Dongtan Bella is conveniently situated in the Namgwangjang area of Dongtan 1, making it incredibly accessible from various subway and high-speed rail stations. You can reach the hotel from Dongtan Station (SRT & GTX), Seodongtan Station, or Byeongjeom Station in just 10-15 minutes!

Since I had luggage, I took a taxi from Byeongjeom Station. It was a quick and easy ride!

Hotel Dongtan Bella occupies the 8th to 10th floors of this building. Just enter through the building entrance next to E-Mart 24!

The reception for Hotel Bella is located on the 8th floor, so head straight up there for check-in.

One of the biggest perks here is the self-check-in kiosk, meaning you can arrive at any time and get into your room without a hitch! This is super convenient for business travelers whose arrival times might be unpredictable. No more worrying about late arrivals!

My partner and I booked the Master-Mountain View room. It boasts a lovely green view of Banseoksan Mountain, though unfortunately, we arrived at night and left at dawn, so I don't have a photo of the view itself!

The Master room at Hotel Dongtan Bella offers ample space, featuring a comfortable double bed and a single sofa chair.

There's also a convenient hanger rack, perfect for keeping your outer garments wrinkle-free. The bathroom is located to the left.

A large TV and a desktop computer are strategically placed for comfortable viewing from the bed. This is a huge plus for business travelers, as you don't even need to bring your laptop to catch up on work in your room! They even offer free printing services.

For those on a "staycation" or just looking to relax, the smart TV offers a fantastic array of OTT streaming options! The room I stayed in had YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ all available – perfect for unwinding.

The mini-bar was stocked with complimentary bottled water and basic beverages. But what truly stood out, especially during a chilly night, was the *ondol* (floor heating)! Having that cozy warmth spread throughout the room made for an incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay.

The bathroom was also quite spacious and easy to use. My partner was particularly impressed that it even included a bidet – a thoughtful touch!

Basic amenities like shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are provided. However, do remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste! (You can also purchase them from a vending machine on the reception floor if you forget).

While I didn't have time to use the bathtub, if you have a bit more leisure, taking a relaxing bath is a great way to unwind and soak away any travel fatigue.

Overall, Hotel Dongtan Bella truly stands out as a convenient and comfortable option, whether you're in Dongtan for business or leisure. Its strategic location and thoughtful amenities make it a top choice for travelers!
