Hoi An Night Market Street Food 2026: Grilled Corn & More
Craving a culinary adventure in Hoi An? Dive into our guide to the vibrant night markets, featuring delicious grilled corn and other must-try Vietnamese street eats for your 2026 trip.

Our second enchanting night in Hoi An, not Ho Chi Minh City, was truly magical!
The moon was absolutely putting on a show tonight. Every glance at the sky, with its beautiful moon and stars, filled me with joy.

We had such a massive lunch at An Bang Beach, leaving most of our morning glory untouched. Even after catching the spectacular Hoi An Memories Show, we weren't really thinking about dinner.
But on our way back to the hotel, a slight hunger pang hit, and we decided to explore a street stall. We ended up grabbing a couple of grilled corn on the cob – a classic street snack!

Each corn cob was 25,000 VND, which is roughly ~$1.
The cobs were huge and grilled fresh over charcoal right in front of us.

The vendor asked if we wanted a sweet soy sauce glaze. I asked if I could try it, and they dabbed a little on my finger. It was delicious, so I gave the go-ahead! They brushed the sauce on the grilled corn and grilled it again for that perfect caramelized finish.

They wrapped our two grilled corn cobs in banana leaves – a truly authentic touch!

This was grilled corn with a savory scallion-soy sauce glaze.
I'm usually not a huge fan of corn, but there wasn't much else calling to me at the Hoi An night market, and the shops near our hotel were already closed. Plus, my travel companion loves corn, so I thought, why not? I was genuinely surprised by how tasty it was!
There’s nothing quite like eating warm street food as you walk. We enjoyed our grilled corn all the way back to the hotel!
Since it was a street stall, I can only give you a rough location:

📍 Công Viên Nguyễn Trường Tộ
106 Nguyễn Trường Tộ, Hội An, Đà Nẵng, 베트남
We found it while walking along the street near the church next to this park! If you happen to pass by a similar spot, I highly recommend trying it out!

Back at the hotel, I grabbed a mini-bar beer for 14,000 VND per can, which is about ~$1.
Even though it was a paid mini-bar, the price was comparable to what you'd find at a convenience store. So, I popped open a can and enjoyed the delicious combo of grilled corn and a cold beer!
Hoi An Night Market Street Food
The Hoi An Night Market actually offers a vast array of street food. We were just too full to try everything, so let me share some of the amazing street food you can find there!
📍 Hoi An Night Market
3 Nguyễn Hoàng, An Hội, Hội An, Đà Nẵng, 베트남

You'll find grilled corn similar to what we had, and also Banh Trang Nuong, often called 'Vietnamese pizza', which we frequently enjoyed in Da Lat! Definitely try a Banh Trang Nuong when you're there.
From my experience trying it in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1 and Da Lat, the ingredients and sauces vary by region, so the taste is always a little different.
I still regret not trying one at the Hoi An Night Market!

You'll also find a wide variety of skewers, including grilled cheese and octopus!

They even sell frog and quail skewers...
I've tried quail skewers before, sometimes found in Korean lamb skewer restaurants, and I ate them thinking of them as tiny chickens, which was quite enjoyable. But seeing them next to frogs was a bit... much! Haha.
Apparently, grilled frog tastes similar to chicken, but I wonder if I'll ever be brave enough to try it ^^.

There are also stalls selling fresh fruit juices and other beverages.

A trip to a Southeast Asian night market isn't complete without enjoying freshly cut tropical fruits!
Mango, pineapple, jackfruit, and even durian – there are plenty of fruits perfect for munching on as you stroll through the market. So, unlike us, don't fill up at a restaurant before you go! Head straight to the Hoi An Night Market and indulge in its incredible variety of street food!
Still, that grilled corn with the special glaze we bought from the street vendor? Unforgettable!
