The Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport is a 4-star hotel located just 500 meters from Bali International Airport (Ngurah Rai). I highly recommend it if you need a place near the airport due to late-night arrivals or early-morning departures.

making it an incredibly easy Bali stay.

1. Why I Chose Hilton Garden Inn as My Bali Airport Stay

There are plenty of hotels near Bali Airport,

but my reasons for picking this one were clear.

① Just 500m from the airport - You can't beat this location for late-night arrivals or early flights.

② Around ~$19 per person including breakfast - Incredible value for a 4-star Hilton brand hotel.

③ The perfect spot to recharge before heading out to Jimbaran or Ubud the next day.

④ Features an outdoor pool and spacious rooms (standard rooms start at 30 sqm).

If you have awkward flight times, it's so much better to minimize travel on your first day and just rest up near the airport. Plus, the price is so reasonable that it's perfect for a "half-day" stay.

I also spent a night relaxing here before heading to a 5-star hotel in Jimbaran the next day, and this itinerary worked out beautifully.

2. Hilton Garden Inn Bali Twin Room Review

I checked into the hotel around midnight.

To be honest, since it's been a while since the hotel was last renovated,

I was slightly worried it might feel outdated.

But to my surprise, the room was very clean, and the bedding was super cozy—

making it absolutely perfect for a quick one-night stay.

The room was decently spacious, too,

so my friend and I had plenty of space to move around comfortably.

They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, of course,

along with single-use combs, razors, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.

You don't even have to fully unpack your suitcase.

Everything is so well-prepared that you only need to grab your pajamas and underwear.

A quick 5-minute ride from the airport combined with fully stocked amenities—

it totally makes sense why so many travelers choose Hilton Garden Inn

as their go-to transit or half-day stay near Bali Airport.

The pool is super clean and refreshing, too!

There were far more international travelers than Korean guests.

Because of its proximity to the airport, it felt like

a popular hub for layover and transit travelers.

3. Insider Tips on Booking the Cheapest Rates Near Bali Airport

If you're looking for a place near the airport,

value for money is probably your top priority.

I was on the same boat, so I scouted around for the best deals.

Since it's a highly budget-friendly hotel,

the rates vary depending on free cancellation and breakfast options.

Without breakfast,

you can secure a room in the ~$32 range,

but this rate is strictly non-refundable.

Honestly, the price difference wasn't that big compared to the breakfast + free cancellation option, so I went ahead and booked the breakfast + free cancellation package.

When I made my trip, Agoda offered the lowest price,

but looking at it now, Trip.com is slightly cheaper (though it's a very small margin!).

Just a heads up for Agoda users: the price can change depending on whether you choose "Pay Now" or "Pay Later", so make sure to double-check that part.

Since the lowest rates shift all the time, I highly recommend comparing all three platforms before making your final booking!

4. Honest Review of Breakfast at Hilton Garden Inn Bali

The breakfast spread at the Hilton was simple, but it had everything you'd need.

If you're expecting a massive 5-star resort buffet, it might feel modest, but

both the taste and the atmosphere were absolutely spot on!

If you book a package that includes breakfast for two in advance,

it costs less than ~$6 per person, making it an incredibly great deal

among airport hotels.

They serve a mix of local Indonesian dishes and Western options.

They even have both a live noodle station and an egg station,

so you can enjoy fresh, made-to-order dishes right on the spot.

I had my breakfast at an outdoor table while looking out at the pool, and it was such a peaceful, healing moment.

By the way, there was a great variety of tropical fruits like papaya, melon, watermelon, passion fruit, and bananas!

5. Cons & Things to Consider

To be completely honest, there were a few minor downsides.

⚠️ There was almost no plane noise,

but what I didn't expect was the sound of prayers coming from a nearby temple.

Bali is home to many Hindu temples, so you might hear prayer calls early in the morning or at specific times.

If you are a light sleeper, I highly recommend bringing earplugs!

⚠️ While walking from the airport is possible,

it's a bit tricky to walk at night or in the early morning while dragging suitcases.

There are barely any sidewalks, so you have to walk right next to the traffic on the main road.

I tried walking to the airport in the morning,

and it felt much further and riskier than I expected.

That's why I booked a private ride in advance.

It's about 500 meters from the airport. It takes less than 5 minutes by car, or about 15–20 minutes on foot.

(Since there are barely any sidewalks, it actually feels longer.)

If you have a lot of luggage, I highly recommend booking a ride in advance or using Grab.

Q. What are the breakfast hours at Hilton Garden Inn Bali?

It is served until 10:30 AM. Even if you sleep in, you can still enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

Absolutely! Since it's right in front of the airport, it's highly recommended for late-night or early-morning arrivals.

Resting here on your first night and heading to another area the next day makes your trip so much smoother.
