Hello Kitty Bakery Pop-up
A Must-Visit Spot Near Opéra Garnier

As I explored Paris,
one of the spots I was secretly most excited about
was the Hello Kitty Bakery Pop-up!
If you love Hello Kitty as much as I do,
you absolutely must add this to your Paris shopping list!

Unlike the Sanrio goods you might see in Japan,
this was a truly special Hello Kitty experience,
unique to Paris, infused with French flair like
croissants and baguettes, and where you could also
taste a delightful array of pastries.
What's more, it's close to Opéra Garnier and
Galeries Lafayette,
making it a perfect addition to your travel itinerary!

The place I visited was
Baguett. by Maison Kayser
📍 baguett.
33 Rue Coquillière, 75001 Paris, France
This is a limited-time bakery pop-up
created by renowned French bakery
Eric Kayser and Hello Kitty.
Originally scheduled until June,
it was extended due to its popularity and is now set to operate
until August 30, 2026.
If you're traveling to Paris in August,
this is a definite must-visit!
Step inside the store and you'll be enveloped in a vibrant,
pink Hello Kitty atmosphere!
It's not just a bakery with a few characters; from the menu to the merchandise, everything is adorably infused with a distinct Parisian flair.
And encountering Hello Kitty in Paris somehow makes it even more delightful!

2. Hello Kitty Bakery Menu
Honestly, as soon as I walked into the store,
I couldn't help but start taking photos!
From croissants to Hello Kitty-shaped desserts
and macarons, there were so many adorable items on the menu.

Berry Cheesecake €8
A milkshake costs around €8.
Considering the prices in Paris, for a character pop-up menu item,
it was a worthwhile price to try at least once.

What's more, like a baguette or croissant,
it's a menu item that gives you a delightful French travel vibe,
so even if you're not a Hello Kitty fan, it's a great spot to stop by and eat!

The Sanrio macarons are also super cute! 🩷
3. Paris Travel Shopping List

The Hello Kitty goodies I'd bookmarked
for my Paris shopping list.

Actually, what I originally looked for was sold out,
but the tote bags and eco-bags
were perfect to buy as travel souvenirs.

Mini Tote Bag €25
XL Tote Bag €35
I ended up buying a Kitty eco-bag,
and it felt refreshingly different from the usual Eiffel Tower magnets
or common souvenirs you often buy,
so I absolutely loved it!

Even the tables were bear-shaped,
and with Kitty stickers too,
it was seriously adorable!

The cheesecake was also more delicious than I expected! 🩷
4. Places to Visit Near Opéra Garnier

Rather than just visiting the Hello Kitty Bakery
on its own,
I recommend combining it with your itinerary around Opéra Garnier.
It's about a 20-minute walk, and I visited both together.

Opéra Garnier is a place you're likely to see at least once
during your Paris trip.
Its exterior is beautiful, but
if you have time, I highly recommend checking out the interior as well.

With its dazzling staircases and elaborate ceiling decorations,
there are truly countless spots for photos.
+ Just a heads-up: reservations are essential!
