Can a large family stay in a 5-star Nha Trang hotel for around ~$48 a night? Our 2026 review of the Havana Nha Trang Hotel reveals incredible value and comfort.
A large family of over 10 people in Nha Trang
stayed at a 5-star hotel for around ~$48 per night.
Would you believe it?
This time, my husband and I, along with my in-laws,
were planning a big family trip to Nha Trang,
and we struggled quite a bit to find accommodation that satisfied
both price and location.

After comparing several places to stay, the one we chose
was the Havana Nha Trang Hotel.
After staying there for 3 nights myself,
I realized it might not have the feel of a luxurious resort,
but for value for money,
it's definitely a competitive choice.

While there are many affordable accommodations in Nha Trang,
the Havana Nha Trang Hotel stood out especially for its
excellent value for money.
We booked 6 rooms for 3 nights,
including breakfast,
for a total of ~$928.

If you calculate per room,
it comes out to about ~$48 per room per night.
At this price point,
it's easy to see why it's often mentioned as
a top value-for-money hotel in Nha Trang.
We all booked Deluxe City View
Double rooms, but
the room conditions varied slightly.

Our room only had a city view and a shower booth,
but my in-laws were lucky enough to enjoy
a side ocean view.

What's more, their room also had a
bathtub, making it even better for relaxation.

Overall, the rooms at Havana Nha Trang Hotel are spacious,
making them perfectly sufficient for 2-3 people.
If you're traveling as a large family like us,
it's great to book multiple rooms
so everyone can enjoy their private space.

Looking again while writing this, it's now possible to book for around ~$35!
Location is the most important factor
when choosing accommodation in Nha Trang.
This hotel is right on the beachfront and
located in the city center, making it incredibly convenient
to get anywhere.

What was particularly impressive was
the underground passage directly connecting
the hotel to the beach.
In Vietnam, there are many motorbikes, so crossing the street can be a bit daunting,
but here, you could get to the beach without crossing any roads.

☑️ Traveling with children
☑️ Traveling with parents
☑️ Large family trip
If these conditions apply to you,
this underground passage alone makes it
worth choosing.

The swimming pool at Havana Nha Trang Hotel
offers quite a nice view, designed so you can see
both the city skyline and the ocean!

Pool, spa, fitness center, kids' facilities, etc.
Generally, everything you'd need was available.

The breakfast at Nha Trang Havana Hotel
was mainly composed of Vietnamese and Western dishes,
and there were also some simple Korean options.

Personally, the pho was quite satisfying.
It actually tasted better than the pho at Amiana Resort,
which I visited later.

While it wasn't exactly a gourmet restaurant,
it was a decent, solid offering that made me feel like,
"for this price, there's quite a bit to eat here."

✅ Havana Hotel Water Quality
They say the water quality in Nha Trang, Vietnam,
isn't always the best, so I
prepared a shower filter in advance.
However, at Nha Trang Havana Hotel,
my shower filter didn't show much change, and
compared to the Cam Ranh area I visited later,
the water quality was actually quite good.
If you're only staying in hotels within Nha Trang city,
you probably don't need a filter.

But if you're also visiting the Cam Ranh area,
definitely pack a shower filter!

✅ Elevators
Since Havana Hotel has so many rooms,
I was worried it would be chaotic in the mornings.
However, there are plenty of elevators,
so we didn't experience any major inconvenience.

✅ Currency Exchange Service
You can exchange currency right next to the hotel's check-in counter.
While the exchange rate isn't as good as at the gold shops in the city,
it was convenient to exchange without worrying about regulations, and that was a huge plus.

If you're planning a free and easy trip to Nha Trang and
want to keep accommodation costs down,
don't want to compromise on location, and
traveling with family is a priority,
the Havana Nha Trang Hotel is just perfect.

While it might not have the overwhelming luxury of a brand-new resort,
it excels in offering reasonable prices,
a central downtown location,
and safe travel routes.
Especially if you're traveling with parents or children,
or on a large family trip like ours,
your satisfaction will likely be even higher.
If value for money is important to you,
I highly recommend Havana Nha Trang Hotel.
