Super Candle Hotel Hanoi Review 2026: Family-Friendly Pool & Breakfast

Finding the perfect accommodation for a family trip can be quite challenging,

(especially when you're traveling with parents AND kids – that's a whole new level of challenge!)

With spacious rooms, a fantastic swimming pool, and an incredibly reasonable price,

it turned out to be the perfect family-friendly accommodation in

Hanoi – the Super Candle Hotel! I'm excited to share my review with you.

These were all the factors I carefully considered when choosing a hotel in Hanoi.

Initially, finding a hotel that met criteria 1-4 often meant a higher price range, which made me hesitate.

But then, near West Lake, I discovered a hotel that satisfied all four points AND had a reasonable price!

Plus, its location near West Lake means it's wonderfully quiet,

making it ideal if you're planning a family trip with both parents and children.

Hanoi Super Candle Hotel Check-in & Exterior

Check-in: 14:00-05:30 (next day)

Check-out: -12:00

Upon entering the first floor, you'll immediately find the check-in area.

After showing my passport, I was checked in right away.

Luggage storage was also available before and after check-in.

There's a mini-bar and a small convenience store on the first floor,

which seemed perfect for when you need something in a pinch!

Hanoi Super Candle Hotel Rooms

I booked the Family Suite.

The Family Suite configuration varies based on hotel availability on the day of check-in:

either one queen bed + two single beds

or three single beds.

Generally, it comes with two rooms + two bathrooms.

I was assigned a room with one queen bed + two single beds,

which surprisingly had a setup of two rooms + three bathrooms!

The living room features a table, sofa, and TV.

It felt more spacious than the average Hanoi accommodation, making it perfect for a family trip.

There's also a kitchenette on one side of the living room,

but please note that it only has an electric kettle and a microwave – no other cooking utensils.

I personally only used the refrigerator and microwave.

The large refrigerator was a huge plus, allowing us to keep snacks and food we brought from Korea cool and fresh.

The bedding was clean, fresh, and smelled lovely,

and the beds were large and plush – absolutely wonderful.

Each room came with its own bathroom,

and every bathroom was equipped with a bathtub.

This made it incredibly convenient for multiple people to get ready.

The bathrooms were stocked with amenities like toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a hairdryer.

However, we used the ones we brought from home.

I even attached a shower filter, and by the time we were ready to head back to Korea,

its color had noticeably changed.

If you have sensitive skin, definitely remember to bring a filter!

Hanoi Super Candle Hotel: Breakfast & Amenities

They have a variety of facilities available, including breakfast, a swimming pool, a sauna, and a fitness center.

Breakfast is served from 6 AM to 10 AM.

The breakfast restaurant isn't very spacious, so if there were no seats available,

we had to use the seating at the Full Moon Restaurant next door.

Salads and fruits are always available as a basic offering.

Egg dishes and pho were made fresh to order.

In addition, there were simple hot food options available,

and the hot food menu changed daily.

From bread to cereal, even though the breakfast restaurant is small, it's packed with everything you need,

making it perfect for a simple breakfast!

There's also a small indoor swimming pool.

Being indoors and heated, it was nice and warm for a swim.

If you only remember to bring your swimsuit,

towels and kickboards were provided.

A fitness center is located on one side of the pool area,

so both those working out and those swimming can enjoy the same space!

While the amenities might seem a bit modest compared to other 5-star hotels,

they have all the necessary facilities,

so we didn't experience any major inconvenience!

Considering the price point,

it definitely offered a more reasonable stay.

Hanoi Super Candle Hotel offers not only standard hotel rooms

but also apartment-style rooms.

The cooking facilities were very convenient, making it easy for my parents, who are sensitive to spices, to prepare meals with food they brought from Korea.
