Our next stop after Granada was Seville, but
since we were already in Spain! While moving between areas in the south,
we really wanted to see the major small towns in between.
It felt like a waste to spend the whole day just traveling to Seville,
but we didn't have the luxury of adding an extra day to our itinerary.
So, we looked for a way to compactly visit
the key small towns in Spain's Southern Andalusia region
all in one day while traveling.
Here's my review of the satisfying transfer tour I paid for myself!

How to Get from Granada to Seville and See the Small Towns Along the Way
Granada → Frigiliana → Nerja → Ronda → Seville
After some searching, we found that public transport connecting these five cities
didn't offer a direct, seamless route.
Between sections with no direct routes and transfers in Malaga, for example,
travel time alone (excluding sightseeing) would be about 8 and a half hours.
Long-distance transport costs were also approximately 50-100 Euros per person.
Considering bus wait times and luggage storage,
it would be a far too demanding itinerary to try and sightsee while traveling on the same day.
We briefly considered a rental car,
but driving on unfamiliar roads, parking, and returning the car
seemed like a hassle and stressful just thinking about all the things we'd have to manage ourselves.
What we really wanted was
a way to explore the small towns of Southern Spain in a single day
while also traveling from Granada to Seville.

Luggage Handled: From Pickup to Your Seville Accommodation Doorstep
From Hotel Porcel Navas in Granada, where we stayed,
the pickup meeting point was about a 3-minute walk.
We met around 8:45 AM, loaded our luggage into the car, and departed around 9 AM.
After exploring Frigiliana, Nerja, and Ronda,
we arrived in Seville around 7 PM.
They dropped us off right near our respective accommodations, which was incredibly convenient.
Not having to drag heavy suitcases around or
search for separate storage during our sightseeing,
plus being able to comfortably rest in the car between destinations,
were the biggest reasons we chose this transfer tour.
What's more, they made stops for clean, free-to-use restrooms throughout our journey between cities,
which was a surprisingly big plus.
Our Actual Frigiliana-Nerja-Ronda Route
Frigiliana
In Frigiliana, we walked with our guide along the beautiful white alleys.
We listened to brief explanations,
and our guide took many couple photos of us
at spots where the pictures turned out great.
The atmosphere of the white alleys was absolutely stunning,
and my partner and I kept saying it reminded us of our trip to Greece.
It's easy to see why it's called the Santorini of Spain!
Nerja
In Nerja, we had free time to
slowly take in the Balcony of Europe and the Mediterranean scenery.
We picked one of the local eateries recommended by our guide,
and had a delicious lunch.
Seeing a different Mediterranean landscape from Frigiliana,
and being able to have lunch on our own during free time,
it felt wonderful to explore at a more relaxed pace.
Ronda
In Ronda, we took many photos with the famous Puente Nuevo as our backdrop.
We also explored from the top of the bridge,
and had plenty of time to take pictures during our free time.
While exploring, we ducked into a dessert shop to use the restroom
and take a short break.
The scenery around Puente Nuevo was truly magnificent,
and it was great to explore at our own pace during free time,
rather than strictly following a set explanation.
A Major Plus: We Got Plenty of Couple Photos!
When traveling, you often take many landscape photos,
but it's hard to get photos of yourselves together with the scenery without a tripod.
Especially when traveling in Europe, with worries about pickpockets,
it can feel a bit uneasy handing your phone to a stranger
to ask them to take a photo.
At the photo spots in each area — Frigiliana, Nerja, and Ronda —
our guide took photos for us,
allowing us to capture many couple photos with my partner.
This part was absolutely fantastic! ✨
It felt like we had a spontaneous photoshoot in each city!
