If you purchase an admission ticket for Seomjingang Train Village, where the Gokseong World Rose Festival is taking place, you can enjoy the Gokseong Rose Festival for free.
Please note that as of May 20, 2023, the ~$1 Shimcheong gift certificates, which used to be provided to paying visitors, are no longer being issued.
In front of the Seomjingang Train Village ticket office, there were advertisements providing information about nearby tourist attractions and events.

As you can see from the map above, if you enter Seomjingang Train Village through the A main gate, you'll need to walk a bit to reach B.
Gokseong World Rose Festival Parking Information and Drop-off Tips for the Elderly/Infirm
Here is the parking information available during the festival period.
When I visited, my mother, who was with me, had a bit of difficulty walking long distances due to leg discomfort.
If you have family members who find it challenging to walk a lot, I recommend heading to the rear gate ticket office of Parking Lot #1 (from the parking areas mentioned above) to drop them off.
The rear gate ticket office is the closest point to the Rose Garden, where the Gokseong World Rose Festival is held.
Plus, the path from the rear gate to the Rose Garden is lined with food trucks, making for a fun stroll and delicious discoveries!
However, if you purchase tickets at the main gate ticket office, the central stage is right in front of you upon entry, making the main gate area ideal for catching performances.

The admission fee for the Gokseong World Rose Festival is ~$3 for adults and ~$3 for children. If you purchase a Seomjingang Train Village ticket, you can enter the Gokseong Rose Festival for free.
Starting May 20th, the Simcheong gift certificates worth ~$1, which were previously given to paid attendees at the 2023 Gokseong World Rose Festival, will no longer be distributed. Please keep this in mind before your visit.
If you are accompanied by someone who has difficulty walking, it is recommended to drop them off at the rear gate ticket office of Parking Lot 1. The distance from the rear gate ticket office to the Rose Garden is the shortest.
