You can enjoy the grilled meat with various accompaniments provided, like ssamjang (spicy dipping sauce), sesame oil with salt, plain salt, or pickled onions. Just pick what suits your taste!

Personally, I found the garlic marinated beef ribs tasted best when paired with the refreshing pickled onions!

My mom, on the other hand, preferred wrapping her meat in fresh ssam. Of course, the meat is so delicious on its own that I also highly recommend simply enjoying it plain.

What really stood out were the large, chewy ongsimi (potato starch dumplings) in the stew – they were absolutely delightful! I thought Yukga Sikdang only excelled at meat, but their side dishes, especially the Doenjang Sulbap with its delicious broth, generous ingredients, and incredibly chewy ongsimi, are a must-try. I highly recommend it!

Paired with a refreshing Coke, it was a perfectly harmonized meal today.
