Whenever I fly with an airline that doesn't serve in-flight meals,

I always make sure to stop by an airport lounge

in the departures area to grab a bite to eat.

Gimhae Airport doesn't have many dining options,

which makes the airport lounge an even better choice.

Today, I'm excited to share my review of the Gimhae Airport New Sky Hub Lounge,

including how to access it and my breakfast experience!

First, let's start with some basic information

and pricing details for the Gimhae Airport Lounge.

Excluding the airline-specific lounges, Gimhae Airport

has two Sky Hub Lounges available.

📍 The original Sky Hub Lounge is near Gate 9,

while the new lounge is located near Gates 2 and 3.

The "New" (N) Sky Hub Lounge I visited is the newer location.

Since the facilities are fresh and the food selection is much wider,

I decided to check this one out.

The lounge is open daily from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM,

operating year-round without any days off.

The walk-in entry fee for an adult is $45 USD.

Since that can be a bit pricey, getting a discount pass

or using a partner card is definitely the way to go.

Next, let me share the best ways to access

the Gimhae Airport Lounge at a much better rate.

The most common method many travelers use

is issuing a voucher through 'The Lounge' app

by linking a credit card that offers lounge benefits.

It's incredibly easy to do,

and it's exactly how I gained entry this time.

Once you open the app, on the first page,

click 'Register Partner Card / Get Voucher'

to bring up the 'Lounge Voucher' window.

Generating the voucher will display a QR code,

which you can simply show at the entrance to walk right in.

However, most lounge-eligible credit cards

are limited to single-person entry.

If you're traveling with someone, that can put you in a spot.

In this case, you can purchase a separate domestic airport

lounge pass online before you go.

At around ~$22, which is about half the official $45 USD entry fee,

it is much cheaper and highly cost-effective,

and it's super convenient as you receive the pass instantly upon purchase!

I visited the lounge around 10:00 AM.

Let me show you what the atmosphere and interior look like

during the morning hours.

Since it was a time when mostly short-haul flights were scheduled

and it was between typical meal times,

the interior was incredibly quiet and peaceful.

In fact, more than half of the tables were completely empty.

Inside, you'll find standard tables for two, cozy sofa seating,

and even high chairs available for those traveling with little ones.

Aside from the two-person tables, the spacing between the seats

is quite generous, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

There's also a flight information display screen inside the lounge

keeping you updated on real-time flight departures,

and tucked away in the back, you'll find two massage beds.

I've visited this lounge quite a few times, but to be honest,

I haven't actually seen anyone using those massage beds yet!

Next up, let’s talk about the best part: the lounge food selection!

This list is current as of March 2026,

so please keep in mind that the menu might vary slightly depending on when you visit.

Since it's a newer lounge, the buffet area is super clean,

modern, and beautifully arranged.

Also, because it was early morning, it wasn't crowded at all,

making for a really peaceful and relaxed breakfast.

The central buffet island is dedicated to fresh, green options

and vegetarian-friendly dishes.

There were about four to five different types of salad

with various dressings to choose from,

along with a fantastic Korean section where you can build your own bibimbap!

What's cool is they offer both the classic spicy gochujang

and a savory soy sauce option as a dressing.

For instant ramen, they have two classics: Shin Ramyun and Tempura Udon.

They're tucked away on the lower shelves, so if it's your first time,

they might be a little easy to miss!

You'll also find milk and cereals (like Chex and Frosted Flakes),

along with light bakery items like croissants and dinner rolls.

For spreads, they had strawberry jam and butter,

though the limited selection of jams

was a tiny bit of a letdown.

There were six hot mains available, featuring crowd-pleasers like

rose pasta, fried rice, meatballs, sweet and spicy fried chicken (dakgangjeong), tteokbokki,

and sausages—dishes that almost anyone would enjoy!

The lineup for the main dishes

has remained pretty consistent over the past few months.

If you're craving a warm, comforting bowl of soup, they offer two cozy options:

spicy beef soup (*yukgaejang*) and classic cream of mushroom.

For rice, they had both white rice and black rice.

The white rice is perfect for mixing up your bibimbap, while the black rice

pairs beautifully with a bowl of the hearty beef soup.

As for drinks, the soda fountain served Pepsi, Cider, and Mountain Dew,

while Terra was the featured draft beer.

Personally, I was absolutely thrilled that the beer of choice was Terra!

They also offered coffee in two ways: a bean-to-cup machine using premium Ediya beans,

and convenient instant coffee packets on the side.

The fridge was stocked with bottled water and sparkling water,

but there weren't any canned sodas available.

One of the best unique features of the Sky Hub Lounge

is their selection of delicate, bite-sized appetizers.

With options like marinated seafood shrimp, sweet condensed milk glazed bites, and steamed egg custard,

it felt incredibly sophisticated and tasted amazing.

The selection rotates slightly depending on the season, and honestly,

this thoughtful touch is exactly why I keep choosing the Sky Hub Lounge.

Finally, let's dive into my honest thoughts on

the breakfast dishes I piled onto my plate!

Having visited the Gimhae Airport lounges several times now,

I've developed a sixth sense for heading straight to the absolute best dishes first.

The **Bibimbap** is fantastic for a healthy carb boost,

and the sausages make for a perfect savory side.

Plus, the Caesar salad and fried tofu were delicious,

and the sweet crispy chicken (*dakgangjeong*) is a match made in heaven with a cold beer!

My absolute favorite item at this lounge

has to be the Rose Pasta.

The sauce is wonderfully thick and rich, which makes it so satisfying.

The only downside was that since the lounge was quiet when I visited,

the pasta had cooled down a bit—which was a minor shame.

A surprising winner was definitely the Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup).

It has just the right kick of spice to instantly wake up your tastebuds—

honestly the perfect comforting bowl for a morning flight day!

To wrap it all up, I enjoyed some yogurt with cereal,

followed by a warm, freshly brewed cup of coffee.

From a satisfying hot meal to sweet treats and that final caffeine boost,

I truly enjoyed the ultimate pre-flight lounge experience!

The Gimhae Airport Lounge is the perfect place to kick back and relax

if you have plenty of time before your flight or if you're taking

a mid-haul flight that doesn't serve in-flight meals.

is a smart, budget-friendly way for both of you to enjoy the space together.

it's an absolute dream spot to unwind if you love a good drink!
