Gimhae Airport KAL Lounge Review 2026: Amenities & Access Tips

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the KAL Lounge at Gimhae Airport. There’s nothing quite like starting your international trip by unwinding in a comfortable lounge, enjoying delicious food and drinks, and relaxing on plush sofas before your flight.

Today, I'll give you a quick peek at the lounge's ambiance, its food and beverage offerings, and share some tips on how to snag discounted access passes.

Gimhae Airport actually has two main lounges: the Sky Hub Lounge and the KAL Lounge. For this trip, I opted for the KAL Lounge.

Located on the 3rd Floor of the International Departures Terminal

You'll find the Gimhae Airport KAL Lounge on the 3rd floor. Stick around until the end of this post, and I'll share information on how to purchase discounted lounge passes for other domestic lounges, though it's important to note that the KAL Lounge has specific access rules.

The lounge operates from 5:40 AM until 10:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to relax before most international flights.

The main services here include a variety of snacks, a buffet-style meal, alcoholic beverages including draft beer, complimentary Wi-Fi, flight information displays, and even printer access if you need it.

I spotted cereals, a good selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, and even instant cup noodles – a Korean favorite!

There were also sandwiches, madeleines, and a few other pastries. I just grabbed a sandwich for a light bite.

You'll also find simple finger foods like bananas, yogurt, cookies, and cheese.

Coffee and a variety of teas were also readily available.

The number of guests seemed to fluctuate quite a bit, depending on flight schedules.

It was quite busy when I first arrived, with a queue to get in, but then it quickly emptied out. They also had magazines available for reading.

While the food options were decent, I felt the seating arrangement was a bit cramped.

Every moment of travel is precious, and the Gimhae Airport KAL Lounge certainly elevates the start of your journey.

I didn't have much time, so I only managed to grab a quick drink and a sandwich before my flight. But if I travel from Busan again in the future, I'll definitely make sure to enjoy the lounge more leisurely.
