Today, I explored Gohyeon Market! Even in the morning, it was bustling with people. The best part? Parking is free for up to 2 hours, once per day! That's a huge bonus!

Once you step inside the market, you'll find a Food Alley. Follow it straight, and you'll discover Sundaeria. Even on a weekday, the place was packed, making it clear this is a true local hotspot.

This particular street food joint is famous for celebrity visits. Many celebrities from Geojede, and beyond, have stopped by, leaving their autographs and posters all over the walls. Most recently, Woni from the K-pop group LE SSERAFIM even recommended it!

The seating area inside is quite small, yet it was full of people. That just tells you how delicious the food must be, right?! There were long lines for both dine-in and takeout. The takeout line, in particular, was quite extensive.

(You'll spot plenty of celebrity photos plastered on the walls!)

The prices here are incredibly budget-friendly. With inflation on the rise, it's rare to find dishes priced at under ~$10. Getting a 'Kimtteoksun' (Gimbap, Tteokbokki, Sundae combo) for less than ~$10 is an absolute steal in today's economy!

Once we snagged a table, we ordered Gimbap, Tteokbokki, and Sundae. But then I saw someone at a nearby table enjoying Janchi Guksu (noodle soup) so enthusiastically that I just had to order one too!

The generous spread filling our table was truly impressive. And as a bonus, we even got complimentary fish cake soup!

The Tteokbokki's color was absolutely insane! That spicy and sweet sauce, deeply infused into the chewy rice cakes, just clung to my palate. The texture was delightfully chewy, and the sauce wasn't heavy but offered a clean, addictive spiciness.

Dipping the savory Gimbap into the Tteokbokki sauce creates a truly perfect combination. The rolls are packed with fillings, offering a fantastic texture with every bite.

The Sundae (Korean blood sausage) had absolutely no off-putting smell and boasted an incredibly chewy, dense texture. This Sundae was the real deal! The more you chew, the richer the savory flavor becomes, and it's even more delicious dipped in the Tteokbokki sauce. (You absolutely *must* try the Sundae, or even better, the Sunwubok!)

Adding a bowl of warm Janchi Guksu, ordered a bit later, provides a wonderfully clean finish to the meal. At such an affordable price, I initially suspected it might just be noodles in broth, but I was happily mistaken. The rich anchovy broth and tender noodles truly fill you up. All four dishes we ordered were a resounding success!

However, this place's true signature dish is 'Sunwubok,' a stir-fried sundae and udon noodle dish. I was so focused on the basic street food items that I regret not trying the Sunwubok.

If you visit, don't make the same mistake I did! Be sure to order the Sunwubok alongside your other dishes. Since their Sundae is so incredibly delicious, I can only imagine how amazing the Sunwubok must be!
