Fuji-Q Highland Ticket Prices 2026: Thrill Rides & Naruto Village
Ready for an adrenaline rush? Explore Fuji-Q Highland in 2026, home to Guinness-record-breaking thrill rides, Naruto Village, and epic views of Mount Fuji. Get your tickets here!

While on a Mount Fuji tour as part of a Tokyo day trip, I also visited
the famous Fuji-Q Highland,
renowned for its Naruto Village and its 'Four Major Thrill Rides'!
These rides are so terrifying, they've even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records!
Even seasoned rollercoaster enthusiasts
are said to tremble with fear!

With the breathtaking scenery of Mount Fuji as a backdrop,
these incredible rides stand tall...
Today, I'll be covering Fuji-Q Highland's location and how to get there,
ticket booking tips, and a rundown of the rides!

Booking Your Adventure

While entry to Fuji-Q Highland itself is free,
you'll need to purchase a ticket to enjoy the rides.
Most visitors opt for the 1-day pass,
which grants access to all the exciting attractions.
Since on-site tickets range from ¥7,200 to ¥7,900,
it's significantly cheaper to buy them online in advance.
📌1-Day Pass Price Comparison
Waug | Trip.com | Klook |
~$47 | ~$44 | ~$47 |
After comparing various booking sites,
it turns out that Trip.com is offering up to ~$4 in discount coupons,
making it the cheapest option at around ~$44.
I personally purchased my ticket through Trip.com as well!
>Purchase Fuji-Q Highland Tickets on Trip.com<

Simply show your mobile ticket to the staff at the ticket booth,
and they'll exchange it for a physical admission ticket.
When you enter, you'll take a face photo at a kiosk.
Before you hop on any ride,
they verify your ticket with facial recognition.
It was super convenient not having to carry my ticket around all day!
Location & How to Get There

📍 Fuji-Q Highland
5-chōme-6-1 Shinnishihara, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi 403-0017 Japan
If you're departing from Tokyo, you can catch either the
Chuo Line express train or a highway bus from Shinjuku Station.
While the train requires a transfer at Kawaguchiko Station,
the bus takes you directly there in one go.
The prices also differ, with the bus at ¥2,200 and the train at ¥4,200,
making the bus a much more affordable option. So, if you're coming from Tokyo,
I highly recommend taking the bus!
Travel time varies depending on traffic conditions,
but it generally takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes.
The 4 Great Scream Machines

These are the four legendary scream machines you absolutely *must* ride when you visit Fuji-Q Highland!
First up is 'Takabisha'!
This roller coaster plunges down at a maximum drop angle of 121 degrees.
It practically drops vertically – seriously, it looks terrifying!

From what I experienced, Takabisha seemed to have shorter lines and was less crowded.
But everyone who's ridden it
says its satisfaction level is so high, they'd tell you to ride Takabisha again!

Next is Eejanaika!
This is a roller coaster where your seats rotate forwards and backwards.
With a total of 14 rotations and a top speed of 126 km/h,
it's the ride with the longest wait among the four.

Then there's Fujiyama.
An iconic roller coaster, built when Fuji-Q Highland first opened, boasting a top speed of 130 km/h.
Plus, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji when you're soaring high above!

And finally, JOKOON.
Originally, Dodonpa held a spot as one of the 4 Great Scream Machines,
but its operation was suspended due to injury risks.
JOKOON, built in 2023, has now taken its place.
It's unique for its backward travel, ridden while holding onto handlebars,
and it's considered the least scary of the four.
Beyond these, there are truly so many other thrilling rides to discover!
The park isn't overwhelmingly crowded overall,
so if you're tired of the high crowd densities
you might find at places like Universal or Disneyland,
I absolutely recommend Fuji-Q Highland!
Naruto Village

Good news! Entry to Naruto Village is completely free!
Just tell them at the ticket booth you're going to Naruto Village,
and they'll give you a free admission ticket.
If you want to apply online in advance,
you can join CLUB Fuji-Q, get your admission ticket beforehand,
then on the day, just issue your ticket at a machine near the entrance.

Honestly, the biggest reason I visited Fuji-Q Highland
was for Naruto Village!🔥

I even got to play shogi with Shikamaru,

and then headed to try Ichiraku Ramen, which I had been dying to eat!

While there are plenty of seats, the counter seats
where Hinata and Iruka Sensei are, are by far the most popular.

Ramen prices range from around 1,100 yen to 1,800 yen.
There are also drinks themed after Naruto characters.

The Ichiraku Ramen looked pretty good, but the taste... it really wasn't good at all...
It felt like they were serving frozen products; the meat had a strong gamey smell, and the broth was just so-so..

But I could still leave feeling good, just for the experience of having tried Ichiraku Ramen from Naruto!
But I probably won't eat it again..^^

Beyond that, there are various photo zones and a VR experience zone, which I really enjoyed. However, the Naruto Village itself isn't huge, so if you come to Fuji-Q Highland just for this, you might be a little disappointed.

It's also worth browsing the gift shop!
Attack on Titan Attraction

Here's another attraction that will get anime fans excited:
the Attack on Titan attraction!
Its location can be a bit tricky to find – it's near the entrance of Thomas Land, to the bottom right of Takabisha.

The attraction itself is about 7-8 minutes long, but if you include the explanation time and waiting, you should budget around 20 minutes.
Before entering, a staff member dressed in a Survey Corps uniform gives instructions, and it's almost like Levi is barking orders!
Everyone was chatting excitedly, then suddenly stood at attention and listened intently lol. That's when I thought, 'These are true Attack on Titan fans!' Shinzou wo Sasageyo!!!

They show Operation Wall Maria in 3D, and while photography is prohibited so I can't show you the attraction itself, the chairs shake and move, making you feel like you're actually using 3D maneuver gear! I really felt like I'd joined the Survey Corps lol.
If you're an Attack on Titan fan, you absolutely won't be disappointed! They've done such an amazing job with the recreation. It's the best...!!

Besides the Four Major Thrill Rides, there's also a 50-minute haunted house called 'Senritsu Meikyu' (The Labyrinth of Fear).
Even Running Man visited it as a penalty once! Even if you have a park pass, you still have to pay 4,000 yen for admission.
Despite that, it's incredibly popular! I'm not a fan of scary things, so I passed on it.

If you're visiting Kawaguchiko as part of a trip near Tokyo, I highly recommend stopping by Fuji-Q Highland!
Beyond the Four Major Thrill Rides, it's also a place anime fans absolutely won't be disappointed by!
