As expected from a large Gimpo cafe, Forerium's first floor feels incredibly open and spacious, with ample room for both drink preparation and bakery displays.
What was once a captivating media art installation has transformed since my last visit into a beautifully illuminated full moon. While the media art was lovely, I personally prefer this radiant moon, casting a gentle glow over the space. It feels even more enchanting!
Another reason I adore Forerium is its unique and aesthetically pleasing seating arrangements.💙
There's even a self-service station where you can warm up your bread, which is a fantastic touch!
2nd Floor
The second floor boasts a stunning floral centerpiece, creating an incredibly atmospheric and photogenic spot.
I particularly love the second floor for its sparkling evening views. It's truly a sight to behold as the sun sets.
Additional Spaces
Beyond the first and second floors, Forerium, this fantastic large cafe in Gimpo, offers delightful outdoor areas. You'll find a charming greenhouse, perfect for enjoying a cozy coffee on a rainy day.
There are also outdoor tables, ideal for sipping coffee al fresco as the warmer months approach. Plus, the grassy area has recently been converted into a dog park, which means I'll definitely be bringing my adorable dog, Lotto, here next time!
Bakery Delights
One of the best things about Forerium? Unlike many other large cafes in Gimpo with static bakery menus, Forerium regularly changes its offerings! ❤️ This means there's always something new and exciting to try.
This time, my eyes were immediately drawn to their luxurious 'Dubai-inspired' desserts! I'd heard Forerium was also famous for its incredibly chewy cookies, so I had a feeling their Dubai-themed offerings would be impressive. They certainly exceeded expectations, looking even more delectable in person. The Dubai Strawberry Cake, in particular, looked absolutely divine! ❤️
They also had a wide selection of baked goods. ❤️ Their financiers are incredibly tasty – as a frequent visitor, I speak from experience! 😉

We ordered a Vanilla Bean Latte, a Cafe Latte,
an Egg Tart, and Garlic Baguette.
Egg Tart
As I mentioned earlier, Forerium is renowned for its bakery, and their egg tarts are particularly famous! So, of course, I had to try one today. The pastry had a wonderfully crisp texture, and with just one bite, the rich egg custard filling melted in my mouth. It was perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious.
Garlic Baguette
Next up was the garlic baguette – a sight no garlic lover could simply pass by! It was delightfully chewy on the outside and moist on the inside, with a sweet and savory garlic butter soaking all the way through the bread. I highly recommend this one too!
Vanilla Bean Latte
The vanilla bean latte was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, which I truly appreciated.
Cafe Latte
And the cafe latte was wonderfully rich and smooth. ❤️
From the desserts to the coffee, everything at Forerium was absolutely perfect.
