Espace Spa Canggu Experience

I had a few spa candidates lined up for our 3-day, 2-night stay in Canggu, and I ended up visiting the two most promising ones.

Espace Spa is located right in the main bustling area of Canggu, making the accessibility top-notch.

It was only about a 0.5-mile walk (around 10 minutes) from our budget-friendly hotel, the Eastin Ashta Resort Canggu, so the location was incredibly convenient.

You need to take off your shoes at the entrance before going inside.

If you are wearing expensive shoes and feel a bit anxious, you can bring them inside and store them in your locker.

The interior features a clean, white-toned, and cozy aesthetic.

After waiting on the first floor, your therapist will come to guide you. The locker room and showers are on the first floor, where you change into a robe and disposable underwear before being led up to the second floor.

Espace Spa Facilities & Review

We booked a private room for two, which was divided by a curtain in the middle.

The lighting was perfectly dim and cozy, and the room was exceptionally clean.

We chose the 90-Minute Aromatherapy Massage.

We pre-booked specific therapists. I prefer lighter pressure, while my partner loves strong pressure, and we were both incredibly satisfied with the customized tension. (I went with medium, and my partner went with strong).

You can also choose from three different aromatherapy oils to match your preference.

Once the massage is over, you head back down to the first-floor locker and shower rooms.

Hairdryers are provided so you can freshen up before heading out.

We originally planned to shower there, but after looking at the shower head, we decided it was best to just shower back at our hotel! (Luckily, our hotel was just a short walk away).

If you plan on showering here, you might want to close your eyes to the shower fixtures.

We got the 90-Minute Aromatherapy Massage for two people.

The final cash price, including tax, came out to 917,000 IDR (approximately $59 USD total).

We requested therapists "Rani" and "Ani", who both had amazing ratings on Google Reviews, and they did not disappoint.

If you are looking for therapist recommendations, I highly suggest booking with either of them! :)

During this Bali trip, we visited two spas in Canggu, two in Jimbaran, and one in Uluwatu.

In terms of cost-performance, Espace Spa was easily our number one choice.

While experiences can vary, both my partner (strong pressure) and I (medium pressure) walked away completely satisfied.

We walked past this spa multiple times while heading to nearby restaurants, and it was always packed with clients, even late into the evening. It is clearly a very popular spot among expats and travelers.
