🌟 100% Honest, Self-Funded Stay Review 🌟
When planning a trip to Paris, the expensive accommodations
can give you a bit of a headache (seriously, finding a budget-friendly place in Paris was so hard...)
🤦🏻♀️
After endless searching, these are the two places I actually stayed in for 2 nights each!
💙
Boasting beautiful terrace views,
safe from Paris's notorious pickpockets,
located in the safe 8th Arrondissement near the Champs-Élysées,
I highly recommend these two super clean hotels!
I actually booked them through Agoda for about ~$128 per night, and
for Paris, getting this level of quality at this price is an absolute steal!
Top 2 Recommended Value Hotels in Paris (8th Arrondissement)
Location: 17 Rue de Turin, 75008 Paris, France
• Liège Station (approx. 300m) – 5-minute walk
• Place de Clichy Station – 7-minute walk
Located in Paris's 8th Arrondissement, ✨
it is super close to major sights like the Palais Garnier, Montmartre, Louvre Museum, and Champs-Élysées, making sightseeing incredibly convenient.
Not only were the surrounding buildings stunning,
but there was always a staff member at the reception desk,
which made me feel very safe, and they were always ready to help with any questions.
I loved the complimentary snacks
you could grab during check-in, and the Wi-Fi password setup was so cute. haha
They actually hand it to you on a little slip of paper!
When traveling as a duo, finding twin beds 🌟
can be surprisingly difficult (since they are in high demand, haha)
But after searching frantically across Paris...
I managed to book a twin room!!!
Bathrooms are always a dealbreaker, right?
As you can see in the photos, it was incredibly clean and hygienic.
It was super convenient because they had both
an overhead rainfall shower and a handheld showerhead.
If you have a romantic dream of Paris,
you are probably dreaming of a gorgeous terrace view! ✨
Not only is it amazing just to sit out and look at the city,
but you can also get some stunning photos here.
Sipping a glass of wine or having brunch here on a sunny day
instantly makes you feel like a true Parisian. haha 🥖
The location was fantastic, and even the surrounding buildings were so beautiful
that we ended up taking tons of photos just walking around the neighborhood.
Personally, I booked it on Agoda for around ~$180 per night,
and the lowest rates for March seem to be in a similar range.
🏡
When I was searching for accommodations, location, safety, and cleanliness were my top priorities, and this price point was so reasonable that I'd easily recommend it as a highly cost-effective Paris hotel.
On the way back to the hotel, we even took
some lovely photos near the local metro station.
The streets are just gorgeous! (It's also known as Hotel Elysée Opera).

📍 Hotel Elysées Opéra
17 Rue de Turin, 75008 Paris, France
After spending 2 nights there, I moved over for another 2-night stay.
The reason was that finding a sparkling clean twin bed room in Paris
for 4 consecutive nights is no easy feat. ㅠㅠ
This place had a room condition that I absolutely fell in love with! 💖
Location: 20 Rue Roquepine, 75008 Paris, France
• Champs-Élysées: Approx. 10-minute walk
The absolute best part was being able to easily walk to
the Champs-Élysées in no time,
meaning I could run over and grab my all-time favorite
Ladurée macarons in every single flavor lol
I could also easily walk to amazing bakeries, the Arc de Triomphe, and local cafes.
🌸🌸🌸
Since most of your time in Paris is spent
exploring rather than staying inside, my main priorities were
a pristine bed and the cleanest facilities possible (especially with bedbug concerns). This place was literally the definition of clean and modern!
On this day, twin beds weren't available... they were SOLD OUT. ㅠㅠ
But I put in a special request begging for twin beds, and...
They kindly separated the beds like this for us!
Pro-Tip ❗️
If you absolutely need a TWIN BED but none are available when booking,
make sure to write it in the special requests and ask again before checking in!
The room I booked came with
a full-length mirror, making it so easy to get ready in the morning.
It also had a coffee machine, a safe, a fridge, and everything else we needed.
I don't usually use hotel-provided amenities,
but the bathroom was so spotless
and the amenities were of such good quality
that I ended up using them on the last day. haha
Since Paris can have theft risks even inside accommodations
and many buildings are quite old,
it's always best to prioritize safety and cleanliness! ❗️
Similar to when I booked,
the lowest prices for late March are around ~$160,
and both properties have over 1,000 reviews
on Agoda, making them super reliable to check out! 📝
The Eiffel Tower was also close by,
so we got to ride the Bateaux Mouches and see it during both day and night. That's why I absolutely loved staying in the 8th arrondissement of Paris near the Champs-Élysées—it has the perfect balance of sightseeing, shopping, transit, and safety!
There's also a very famous Korean restaurant nearby called Soon Grill,
so we were incredibly satisfied getting our Korean food fix! 🇰🇷
There were tons of other amazing restaurants around too.

We recommend stating that you want a twin bed in the special requests when booking, and asking again before check-in. Even if there are no twin rooms available, the staff can separate the existing bed to make it like a twin bed.
