Highly Recommended Ginza Hotel:
'ELE hotel Ginza East'
If you've ever tried booking a hotel in Tokyo, you know the struggle:
great locations are usually outrageously expensive,
and cheap places mean tiny rooms or terrible transit access.
But ELE hotel Ginza East
hits the absolute sweet spot.
It's rare to find a hotel with such flawless accessibility
to major tourist hubs and Tokyo Disney without transfers.
📍 ELE hotel Ginza East
1-chōme-15-10 Shintomi, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0041, Japan
📍 Takaracho Station
2-chōme-13-11 Kyōbashi, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0031, Japan
📍 Kyobashi Station
2-chōme-4 Kyōbashi, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0031, Japan
📍 Hatchobori Station
3-chōme-22 Hatchōbori, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0032, Japan
📍 Shintomicho Station
2-chōme-1 Tsukiji, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0045, Japan
For most Tokyo trips, the primary destinations are
Asakusa, Shibuya (+ Harajuku, Shinjuku), Tokyo Station,
and Tokyo Disneyland.
With four different subway stations located just a short walk away
(Hatchobori, Takaracho, Kyobashi, and Shintomicho),
you can hop on the Ginza Line and be anywhere in minutes.
For travelers relying on public transit,
you'd be hard-pressed to find a better location.
📌 Quick Transit Guide from the Hotel
Shibuya/Harajuku: Kyobashi Station (Ginza Line)
Asakusa: Takaracho Station (Asakusa Line)
Tokyo Station: Hatchobori Station (JR Keiyo Line)
or Shintomicho Station (Yurakucho Line)
Tokyo Disney: Hatchobori Station (JR Keiyo Line)
Honestly, the biggest reason I chose this Ginza hotel
was for Tokyo Disneyland.
Many Disney-goers try to book accommodations near Maihama Station,
but those prices can heavily dent your budget.
More importantly, staying right at Disney makes
traveling to other parts of Tokyo incredibly inconvenient for the rest of your trip.

However, from ELE hotel Ginza East, it's just a 5-minute walk
to Hatchobori Station (JR Keiyo Line).
From there, you can ride straight to Maihama Station without a single transfer!
If you've ever rope-dropped at Disney or left exhausted after closing,
you know exactly how priceless a transfer-free ride back to your bed is.
Thanks to this setup, we successfully rope-dropped
Tokyo DisneySea with zero morning stress! Haha.
Room Conditions & Amenities

There's a running joke that in Japanese business hotels,
"you can barely open a single suitcase."
I went in with low expectations,
but ELE hotel Ginza East was surprisingly spacious in person,
much better than the photos suggested.
I was incredibly satisfied with the layout.

The room has an elongated shape, which might sound narrow,
but we actually had enough floor space to leave two large suitcases
fully open while still being able to walk around comfortably.
My boyfriend and I had no issues
moving around with all our gear unpacked.

Also, if you travel to Japan often, you know
many budget hotel windows are sealed shut (no fresh air!).
I loved that the windows here actually open
so we could ventilate the room.
Since you don't book a budget Tokyo hotel for the view anyway, this was a huge plus.

The amenities were also well-stocked.
The room featured a mini-fridge and a hairdryer,
and the fridge was perfect for storing our late-night drinks and snacks.
Note that complimentary bottled water isn't provided,
so just grab a large bottle from the convenience store nearby!

The bathroom was compact but had everything we needed.
It's the standard, efficient module you expect in Tokyo,
and the water pressure was great.

While they don't do a full room cleaning every single day,
they empty the trash and provide fresh towels daily.
If you need extra towels, just ask the front desk.

There's a ceiling-mounted AC/heater unit.
I visited during the colder months, and the heating was incredibly strong!
It will definitely keep you cozy if you're visiting in early spring or winter.

There's also a shared microwave on the 1st floor,
which was super handy for warming up late-night bento boxes or breakfast onigiri.
A lot of budget spots don't offer microwaves,
so we definitely put this one to good use!

A crucial detail for me: bedside power outlets.
They had standard Japanese plugs right by the bed.
Just plug in your travel adapter and you're good to go.
(Note: The built-in USB port was a bit slow for charging.)
Pro-tip for Japan: always pack a small power strip!
It makes charging all your devices so much easier.
(I plugged a power strip into my adapter to charge 3 devices at once.
We kept our phones and power banks fully juiced this way.)

I compared prices across multiple booking platforms for the same dates,
and surprisingly, Trip.com offered the lowest rate.
If you book via their mobile app or it's your first purchase,
you can often score an additional $15-$20 discount.
I've linked the platforms below so you can compare
the current rates for your specific travel dates!
Platform | Price | Link |
Trip.com | ~$137 | |
Agoda | ~$145 | |
Klook | ~$147 |

ELE HOTEL GINZA EAST is an absolute steal
when you factor in its prime location near Ginza
and the flawless transit access to Disneyland.
Compared to other options in the area,
the price is incredibly competitive. I was beyond satisfied!
