Eiffel Tower Photo Spots in Paris
Exact Google Map Locations & Top Recommendations
If you're heading to Paris, the first landmark on everyone's list is undoubtedly the Eiffel Tower!
Since you're traveling all that way, why not capture some truly beautiful photos? I extensively researched the best Eiffel Tower photo spots, and despite some less-than-ideal weather during my trip, the results were incredibly satisfying!
Below, you'll find the exact Google Maps locations for all these fantastic spots!
Bir-Hakeim Bridge

📍 Bir-Hakeim Bridge
Pont de Bir-Hakeim, 75015 Paris, France
First up is the Bir-Hakeim Bridge. This spot is famous as a filming location for 'Inception,' and if you head to the recessed area in the middle of the bridge, you can capture some truly stunning photos.
This was my first photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background, and with great weather and perfect timing, I was absolutely thrilled with it!

📍 Pont d'Iéna
Pont d'Iéna, 75116 Paris, France
This shot was taken on the Pont d'Iéna after a Bateaux Mouches cruise, capturing the Eiffel Tower at night. It can get very crowded, but if you're patient and wait for a clear moment, you can get a beautiful, unobstructed photo.
I was kneeling down, diligently taking photos, and quite a few fellow travelers recognized my enthusiasm and asked me to take pictures for them too! It was a fun moment.

📍 Francette
1 Port de Suffren, 75007 Paris, France
This isn't a famous tourist attraction, but rather a charming restaurant located directly in front of the Eiffel Tower.
While it might not be a Michelin-star restaurant, dining at an outdoor table with the Eiffel Tower as your backdrop was truly an unforgettable experience! Plus, the handsome waiter was incredibly friendly, which definitely earned him a generous tip.

📍 Trocadéro Square
Pl. du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre, 75016 Paris, France
This is Trocadéro Square, an incredibly popular spot on Instagram, known for attracting street performers and sometimes even the famous 'Paco.'
Unfortunately, when I visited, Paco was traveling, so I missed him, and the weather was quite overcast. I had to do some editing to brighten up the sky a bit.
If you head down the steps from the main square and turn right, you'll find a small garden that offers a much greener and prettier backdrop for photos!

📍 Champ de Mars
75007 Paris, France
Often mentioned alongside Trocadéro, the Champ de Mars offers another iconic view. When I visited in February, the lawn was cordoned off for protection, so I couldn't get those classic Instagram-style shots on the grass. Still, I think the photos turned out quite 멋있게 (cool/impressive)!

📍 Av. de Camoens
Av. de Camoens, 75116 Paris, France
This picturesque spot also made an appearance in 'Emily in Paris'! Early mornings can be tricky due to backlighting, so aim for sunset for truly magical photos.
I was exploring on a cloudy day, so my photos here aren't the prettiest, but I could tell this place would be absolutely stunning on a clear, sunny day.

📍 L'Howea
18 Av. Rapp, 75007 Paris, France
This is the front of a famous flower shop, popular on Instagram. Buying a bouquet to pose with would make the photos even more charming, but with a bouquet costing around ~$32 and the rainy weather, I opted to just use the shop as a backdrop!
🔗Check Paris Photo Shoot Prices
If you're not confident in your photography skills or traveling solo, booking a Paris photo shoot might be a great option. Prices are affordable, and sessions aren't too long.

I also recommend a budget-friendly hotel with an Eiffel Tower view! You can find a detailed review below for your reference:
In February, access to the lawn at the Champ de Mars is restricted to protect the grass. Therefore, you cannot go inside the lawn to take pictures.
Early mornings have backlighting, so photos don't turn out well. If you visit around sunset, you can take much more beautiful photos with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
A bouquet at that flower shop costs ~$32. It looks beautiful if you buy flowers to pose with, but if it rains or the price is too high, you can just use the shop as a background for your photos.
