This is Hungary's second-largest cathedral, and you'll be struck by its grandeur from the moment you see the colossal pillars at the entrance. While impressive from the outside, the interior truly takes your breath away!

The elaborate ceiling frescoes inside the basilica are absolutely mesmerizing and truly awe-inspiring.

✨A Moment for Reflection✨ Inside the basilica, you'll find a quiet corner where you can light a candle for a small donation. Even if you're not religious, it's a beautiful tradition to participate in. I often take a moment to wish for the happiness and well-being of my family and myself.

After soaking in the beauty of the Basilica, we took a leisurely stroll through the charming Old Town streets, making our way towards Eger Castle.

Stopping at a cozy cafe near Eger Castle was the perfect way to recharge our batteries before our next adventure.

For the perfect grand finale to our Eger adventure, we took a short drive to the Valley of the Beautiful Woman (Szépasszony-völgy), where numerous wine cellars await!
