Getting to Disneyland Paris from the city center
is incredibly easy via the regional train system!
🚉 Hop on the RER A train
🛬 Destination Station: Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy 🐭

Just look for the signs pointing to Marne-la-Vallée 🐭
as shown in the image above, and take the RER A!

Category | Disneyland Park | Walt Disney Studios |
Vibe | Magical, classic fairy-tale atmosphere | Action-packed with thrill rides |
Best For | Those who want to see the Castle and Illuminations | Guests who prioritize rides and attractions |
Disneyland Paris is actually made up of
two separate parks.
Because each park has such a distinct personality,
I remember struggling to decide:
'Which one should I visit? I want to see both!'

(Left) Disneyland Park is where you'll find the iconic Disney Castle!
Paris features Sleeping Beauty Castle,
and its stunning pink hues make it perfect for photos!
(Right) Walt Disney Studios Park is packed with amazing attractions!
It's home to the famous Ratatouille ride,
as well as epic Avengers and Toy Story attractions.
The more you compare them, the more you realize you need to do both… haha.

Thankfully, for people like me, Disneyland offers
a ticket that grants access to both parks
at a very reasonable price!
Price | 1-Park | 2-Park |
Dated Ticket | ~$69 | ~$92 |
*Based on Nov 2026 weekday rates*
The price difference between 1 and 2 parks is only about $23,
so I highly recommend getting the 2-Park ticket.
Because if you're traveling all the way to Disneyland Paris,
you simply can't leave without a photo in front of the castle...

# | Park Order | Focus |
1st | Walt Disney Studios | Rides & Attractions |
2nd | Disneyland Park | Rides & Illuminations |
If you purchased the Disneyland Paris 2-Park Ticket,
I recommend visiting Walt Disney Studios first, then Disneyland Park!
Start your day knocking out the popular thrill rides
at Walt Disney Studios,
and then head over to Disneyland Park later in the day
to enjoy the classic atmosphere and grab a spot
for the evening Illuminations!

Let's dive into the must-do attractions,
starting with Walt Disney Studios Park!

Disneyland Paris Must-Do Rides List | |
Walt Disney Studios Park | Disneyland Park |
Crush's Coaster Ratatouille: The Adventure Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure | Big Thunder Mountain Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril Pirates of the Caribbean Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain |
Out of these, there are two absolute must-ride
attractions you cannot miss when visiting Paris!

1. Crush's Coaster ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thrilling Indoor Roller Coaster
Based on the movie ‘Finding Nemo’,
you board a turtle shell and plunge into the dark
ocean currents. It's surprisingly thrilling!
If you enjoy exhilarating indoor spinning coasters
like Space Mountain, you will love this.

2. Ratatouille: The Adventure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Disneyland Paris Classic
This ride originated in Paris,
and even if the line is long, it's highly recommended!
You shrink down to the size of a rat and scurry
through Gusteau's kitchen in a trackless vehicle.

However, because Disneyland is so popular,
the lines for the rides can get incredibly long...
Fortunately, Disneyland Paris offers
Disney Premier Access (their version of an Express Pass)!
Here are the prices for 1-Park/2-Park options.
Ticket | Dated Ticket | Ticket + Premier Access |
1-Park | ~$69 | ~$217 |
2-Park | ~$92 | ~$234 |
*Based on Nov 2026 weekday rates*

If you purchase the Premier Access ticket,
you can skip the standby lines for 11 rides in Disneyland Park and 6 in Walt Disney Studios.
That's a total of 17 attractions with minimal wait!
For comparison, a Universal Studios Express Pass
can easily cost over $130 for just 8 rides,
so getting 17 rides for this price point is actually a solid deal.
It definitely saves your energy
and makes the day much more relaxing, so I highly recommend
considering Premier Access for your Paris trip!

You simply cannot talk about Disneyland Paris
without mentioning the Illuminations.
The Illuminations is the breathtaking
nighttime fireworks and projection mapping show.
⏰ Time: Between 9 PM and 11 PM
💡 The exact time changes based on the season and day of the week,
so always check the official Disneyland Paris app for the daily schedule!

My top recommendation for the best Illuminations viewing spot
is directly behind the garden structures or fences in the central hub!
Because there's a physical barrier in front of you,
nobody can stand directly in your way, guaranteeing perfect photos!

Ta-da! Here is a photo of the Illuminations
taken right from my recommended spot!
Since nearly every guest in the park gathers
for this nighttime spectacular, you need to stake out your spot
at least 1 to 2 hours in advance to get a prime location.
We secured our spot about 2 hours early!

To summarize, make sure you follow these 4 golden rules:
☑️ Buy your Disneyland Paris tickets in advance
☑️ Download the Disneyland Paris app
☑️ Visit Walt Disney Studios first, then Disneyland Park
☑️ Claim your Illuminations spot 2 hours early

You can take the RER A train from central Paris. The station you need to get off at is Marne-la-Vallée.
A dated ticket for 1 Park is ~$69, and a dated ticket for 2 Parks is ~$92. Since the price difference is about ~$20, it is highly recommended to buy the 2-Park ticket to enjoy both parks.
It is recommended to visit the Walt Disney Studios Park first to enjoy its many attractions and rides. After that, moving over to Disneyland Park to see the Disney Castle and preparing to watch the Illuminations is an efficient route.
The exclusive attraction found only in Paris is 'Ratatouille: The Adventure'. It is a ride with a concept where you ride a mouse and explore various parts of a kitchen.
The area behind the garden sculptures is recommended as a prime spot because it secures some space in front, making it great for taking photos. You need to wait at least 1 to 2 hours in advance to secure a spot. You should check the exact start time of the Illuminations through the official Disneyland Paris app.
