Cretya Ubud is a place I highly recommend visiting at least once.
It's a Bali Ubud day club located inside Alas Harum,
famous for its three-tiered infinity pool with rice terrace views and various photo zones.
Cretya = Cretiya = Cretya
There's also a Bali swing, but I only
booked and used Cretya itself,
and honestly, I was really satisfied.
I've organized everything from how to book Cretya Ubud,

1. Cretya Ubud Entrance Fee & How to Book

If you search for Cretya (Cretya) Ubud,
you might wonder if Alas Harum and Cretya Ubud are the same place,
or if there are many similar day clubs out there.
It can get a little confusing!
First off, when you're booking online,
don't rush to book just by looking at the name.
Ubud has quite a few day clubs with similar vibes
and many Tegalalang tour packages,
so you need to carefully check the photos
and the actual location you'll be visiting.
Cretya Ubud allows
on-site purchases as well.
Before my trip, I couldn't decide whether to go or not,
so I ended up buying a ticket on-site.
However, once I got there, I realized that getting around
was more of a problem than the entrance ticket.
Finding a car on the same day just to take you from Ubud to Cretya
was more difficult than I expected, and in the end,
after paying an additional fee,
I ended up using a half-day tour package
that included nearby tourist attractions.
So, if I were to go again, I would definitely pre-book a tour from home
that combines Cretya Ubud Day Club, Alas Harum,
and nearby attractions.
That's because instead of scrambling for taxis or other transport after arriving in Bali,
you can meticulously plan your itinerary by comparing prices and routes in advance.
There aren't any booking sites from Korea where you can just reserve an entrance ticket;
they're usually bundled as tour packages.
Why?
As mentioned above, if it's not a tour,
you can't really go there independently unless you're on a motorbike.
You'll have to travel by taxi tour anyway.

While it's great to relax and have fun at Cretya Ubud's pool,
you might surprisingly find yourself wanting to go somewhere else
after a bit of swimming and snapping some amazing photos.
One strategy is to pack your Bali Ubud itinerary tightly for one day,
then spend the other days more leisurely!
2. How to Use Cretya Ubud: Showers, Lockers, Drinks
→ Actual Entry Process / Operating Hours / Changing Rooms / Showers / Lockers / Towels / Drinks, etc.
If you shower at your accommodation beforehand, put on your swimsuit,
and then shower again in the shower room before entering,
you might not need a locker room?
I purchased the add-on and used the locker room.
When I went into the pool to play,
it seemed okay to just leave valuables,
but I still wanted peace of mind~
There's also a simple changing room right next to the locker room,
so keep that in mind.
The chairs and tables by the water are free.
I recommend going early in the morning to grab a spot here!
It was a bit rainy and cloudy in the morning, so
I debated whether to go, but I went anyway,
and successfully "read the room" to get a seat by the water.
After 12 PM, people started to arrive,
and it was still quite nice to play even with the rain.
The sky suddenly cleared up and the sun came out,
so I definitely thought it was a good decision to go!
3. My Personal Review of Tegalalang Infinity Pool
→ 3-Tier Infinity Pool / Rice Terrace View / Photo Zone / Pool Vibe / Actual Stay Duration
At first, just looking at pictures of Cretya Ubud,
it looked beautiful, but I wasn't sure how to use it,
and I was confused if it was the same place as Alas Harum.
Alas Harum is like a large multi-cultural complex,
and the pool inside it is Cretya!
Most people do everything here:
Cretya, Bali Swing, and walking through Tegalalang.
As you can see, it rained on the day I went,
so I only used the pool, and honestly,
I was completely satisfied!
The biggest reason I visited Cretya Ubud
during my Bali trip was because of its 3-tier infinity pool.
While Bali has tons of beautiful beach clubs and day clubs,
Cretya Ubud isn't ocean-view; instead,
it offers a Tegalalang rice terrace view, making
the combination truly unique.
I even checked out TIS Cafe right next door,
and there's definitely a reason why Cretya Ubud is so famous.
Even though I had seen many photos beforehand,
it was even more beautiful when I saw the pool in person.
Those water droplets on the right aren't rain,
they're actually water falling from the infinity pool upstairs.
If the weather had been sunny the whole time, the light reflecting off the water
would have made for incredibly beautiful photos and videos,
so it was a little bit of a shame that it was cloudy~
But on the bright side, there were hardly any people, which was lucky!
It definitely paid off to be an early bird.
Even though I went from my accommodation at Capella Ubud that day,
it took over 30 minutes by taxi.
Since it takes about 30 minutes or more from Ubud town center too,
I highly recommend leaving early in the morning!
Paid alcoholic beverages, cocktails, pizza, etc.,
F&B orders were also available.
Since there are so many people trying to get their 'life shot' (perfect photo),
don't be shy – take photos wherever you want,
and play wherever you feel like. It's totally fine!
Just keep in mind that as the afternoon rolls around, people start flocking in,
including a lot of Koreans,
so you know the drill, right? Go early! ^^
There's also an admission ticket that allows a limited number of people
to enjoy a floating breakfast before official opening hours, but it's quite pricey.
I considered it, but they don't take same-day reservations and you have to go super early, so I gave up ^^*
Sunset time is also said to be very popular.
Keep that in mind~
Having experienced it firsthand as a must-visit spot in Bali, Cretya Ubud isn't just a place for swimming; it's a destination where you can simultaneously enjoy the Tegallalang rice terrace view, an infinity pool, and numerous photo zones. Time truly flew by! Since it's a bit far from Ubud town center, I recommend combining it with the Tegallalang area for a half-day itinerary.
The water might feel a little cool at first, but hey, this is Bali! You can't really expect a heated pool like in Korea. Once you get in and start playing, you'll quickly get used to it. Personally, I highly recommend it! I almost didn't go because of the rain, but I'm so proud of myself for overcoming the bother and going anyway! 😇
