Hello. This is Ongsang.
Even after visiting Las Vegas multiple times,
The Cosmopolitan was always a hotel I put off saying,
"Next time~"
But this time, I finally got to stay there.
Oh, and now I finally understand
why this hotel is chosen
for honeymoons!

Overall Review & Key Summary |
What is The Cosmopolitan?
It's a hotel right in the heart
of the Las Vegas Strip.
It's right next to the Bellagio,
so its location is truly unbeatable.
It's an MGM Resorts hotel,
and among Las Vegas hotels,
when you talk about "hotels with great views,"
its name always comes up.
It's that hotel I always passed by whenever I came to Las Vegas,
thinking, "I should stay there someday~"
(Because it's expensive;;)
Where to Book?
When booking a Las Vegas hotel,
I always compare several places.
For the same dates, prices can actually
vary quite a bit across different platforms.
And even if there's a slight difference in price,
I'm accumulating Expedia status,
so I book through Expedia.
And, I usually check the following sites!
I'll list them below!
Site | Features | Link |
MGM Official Website | Earn MGM Points, Member-exclusive Offers | 👉 Book Now |
Expedia | Flight+Hotel Bundle Discounts | 👉 Book Now |
Agoda | Frequent Instant Discount Coupons | 👉 Book Now |
Booking.com | Many Free Cancellation Options | 👉 Book Now |
Hotels.com | Stay 10 nights, get 1 free | 👉 Book Now |
Since The Cosmopolitan is an MGM Resorts property,
if you book directly through their official website,
you can earn MGM points and sometimes find
member-exclusive special rates, so
I always check the official site first.
After that, it's standard practice to compare
with other sites and book with whoever has
the cheapest price for that day.

First, I simply can't help but talk about the bathroom!
It features a full-size bathtub finished with marble, and right next to it, a standalone glass shower booth.
The inside of the shower booth sparkled with mosaic tiles that looked like mother-of-pearl, and it was truly so beautiful.
With double sinks and two oval illuminated mirrors, plus a separately enclosed toilet, there was absolutely no inconvenience even if two people were getting ready simultaneously in the morning.

The amenities provided in the shower booth were from Cosmopolitan's own brand, and with names like "LATHER. RINSE. RETREAT.", "UNLOCK LUSH", and "YOU CLEAN UP NICELY", they were not only adorable but also smelled fantastic!

The room features two queen beds.
I originally booked a king bed,
but since I was with a friend,
I asked to switch to a room with two beds
when checking in.
The thick velvet headboard gave it
a luxurious feel, and the bedding was so soft;
I truly had a great night's sleep.

In the minibar area,
snacks like Fiji water and various treats
were set up, and an ice bucket and
glasses were also provided.
There were circular framed artworks
hanging on the walls, which I'd say is a
unique touch of The Cosmopolitan's ambiance.
These artistic elements throughout the room
made the hotel itself feel like an art gallery.
Just a heads-up: everything in the minibar is charged,
except for the complimentary small bottled water^^...
Be careful^^...

A safe, iron, and robes are all provided too.

There's also a large sofa next to the bed,
so you can lounge there too.
The room is seriously, genuinely spacious!
American-sized luxury, indeed.

My room didn't have a direct
front-facing view of the Bellagio fountains.
Fountain view rooms are separate and come at a higher price.
But hey, it doesn't hurt to ask,
so definitely try requesting an upgrade
when you check in!
Especially if it's a weekday
and there's availability,
they'll likely grant an upgrade.
The Terrace Studio City View room I stayed in offered
panoramic views of the southern Strip and the entire Las Vegas skyline.
But honestly, it was beautiful enough, exceeding my expectations.
With the Aria and the distant mountains
unfolding like a panorama, sitting on the terrace chair
with a can of beer, you truly feel like you've arrived in Las Vegas.
During the day, you get the desert city skyline,
and in the evening, the sunset glows between the clouds –
I spent ages on the terrace just soaking it all in.
Even if it wasn't the absolute main Strip view,
I honestly felt this was more than enough.
If you're someone who absolutely *must* see the Fountain View,
try for an upgrade when you check in!

I had planned to head out to the casino,
but I ended up sitting on the terrace watching the sunset,
enjoying a drink on the terrace,
and just let half the day fly by in the room.
And the best part? I didn't regret a single moment of it.
The reason why so many couples choose this spot for their honeymoon?
I completely understood it this time around.
