Conrad Bali Review 2026: A Peaceful Nusa Dua Oasis
Planning a trip to Nusa Dua? Here is an honest review of Conrad Bali, featuring essential tips on early check-in, late flights, and cultural dining.

A trip to Bali in early March, right during the wet season.
Amidst a hectic and busy daily life,
this was a getaway planned just to stop and take a breather.
This time, it was a 16-day, 15-night trip—
basically a full two-week adventure!
Today, I wanted to share my honest review
of the Conrad Bali, a resort near Nusa Dua
where we stayed during our trip.

If I had to sum up Conrad Bali in one sentence,
it would be: pure healing.
Honestly, since Nusa Dua is packed with so many
5-star luxury resorts and hotels, I did a lot of research.
I wanted to avoid places overflowing with only one crowd,
while still keeping that upscale, luxurious vibe.
That's why I went with the highly-rated Conrad, and it was the perfect choice.
It offers great value, ultimate relaxation,
and the absolute best resort vacation experience.

Check-in 3:00 PM / Check-out 12:00 PM

They served us a refreshing welcome tea as we checked in.
Every single staff member was so incredibly kind,
greeting us with big smiles every time we passed by.
It instantly put me in a great mood
and made me smile right back!
Early check-in is subject to room availability on the day,
and they will message you via WhatsApp once your room is ready.
Late check-out can also be requested
for an additional fee.
Quick tip: If you have a late-night flight on your last day,
you can leave your bags at the front desk and squeeze in one last pool session! :)

During check-in, we caught a glimpse of the
Kecak Dance performance at SUKU Restaurant!
I've shared a detailed review of this on my blog,
so definitely check that out as well.

While waiting a bit after checking in,
I looked out at the main pool from the lobby—
and honestly, Conrad Bali's swimming pools are incredible.
There are three different pool areas in total,
and the main pool is so spacious and serene,
making it the perfect place to splash around and relax.

We stayed in a Deluxe King Pool View room,
and the moment I opened the door,
seeing that stunning pool view made me so happy.
The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable—
I slept like a baby during our entire stay! :)

Since we were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday during our Bali trip,
we let the hotel know in advance.
They were sweet enough to prepare this adorable birthday cake along with some welcome fruit!
It actually happened to be my travel buddy's birthday on check-in day! haha

Even a handwritten note...
So incredibly sweet...

Right in front of the bed,
there was a cozy sofa area to lounge in,
making it super comfortable to wind down.

Waiting on the bed was
the cutest little stuffed monkey.
And yes, you're allowed to take this home! haha

Right next to the bathroom area,
there was a TV and a coffee machine setup.

Inside, you'll find easy-to-brew
coffee drip bags and tea, along with a mini-fridge
stocked with paid drinks and water.
They provide 4 bottles of free water every day,
and they'll gladly bring you more if you ask,
so stick to the free water instead of the paid stuff! Haha 😂

With a cozy table and armchair,
this was my go-to spot to hop on my laptop,
get some work done, and organize my daily itinerary.
Just pretending to live that digital nomad life... 😉

The bathroom was also impressively spacious,
complete with a lovely bathtub.
They even provided bath salts,
but to my absolute regret, I never got around
to taking a relaxing soak! I'm so bummed.
I still can't believe how fast our 3-day, 2-night stay flew by 😭
If you're heading to Conrad Bali,
please promise me you'll make time for a relaxing bath...

The vanity area is separate,
and with its gorgeous marble design,
it was the definition of sleek and clean.
There was an abundance of fresh towels,
plus complimentary bottled water in the bathroom for brushing your teeth.
This is the same free bottled water provided in the room—
Bali's famous "AQUA" brand.
Fun fact: over in Gili, they sell "AGRO"
hahahaha 😂
No wonder it was so much cheaper
than the usual AQUA water! I thought, "Is it because it's a small shop?"
...Nope, it was AGRO. ^^

Oh, and did I mention the bath amenities are BYREDO?!
This is exactly why we treat ourselves to luxury hotels... 😍
Whenever there are high-end amenities,
I suddenly feel the urge to shower twice as much.
Ahem! 😎
Also, while there is a rainfall shower,
there's a detachable head where you can easily screw on a travel shower filter,
so definitely pack one!
Honestly, though, the water quality
at Conrad Bali didn't seem bad at all.

The other bathroom amenities provided
were super handy to have as well.

If you look straight ahead from the bathroom area,
you get this gorgeous pool view.

There was a handy drying rack on the balcony,
perfect for hanging up wet swimsuits,
along with a small table and chairs to relax.

The lovely welcome fruit and cake they prepared for us!
Had to take a quick proof shot with this adorable plush monkey. Haha! 😂

The cake was absolutely delicious,
and the cute little monkey plush put the biggest smile on my face.

This was the view from our room's terrace.
It's gorgeous during the day,
but at night, it turns into pure magic.
You can tell the entire resort is impeccably maintained.

The layout of the Deluxe King Pool View room
was actually quite unique.
As soon as you open the door, there’s a full-length mirror right in front of you,
and the wardrobe faces it.
To the side, there's a spacious area to lay out your luggage
along with the in-room safe.
They also provide cozy robes, slippers, an umbrella, and a signature Conrad Bali rattan beach bag,
which came in so handy during our stay!

Now that we've finished a quick tour of our room,
it was time to head outside and explore the resort grounds!
Even the pathways between the buildings were so beautifully landscaped,
so I had to stop and snap a quick photo here!
So gorgeous :)

This is the building we stayed in!
Since the property is absolutely massive,
they give you a map during check-in
and walk you through a brief orientation.
I think there were about four main buildings,
though I'm not 100% sure!

As you wander around, you'll also come across a few boutique shops.
Since they're located inside a 5-star resort,
there were plenty of beautiful, high-quality clothes, but...
they definitely came with a matching hefty price tag ㅠㅠ

There's another pool area right in front of RIN,
the resort's Japanese restaurant.
It was such a peaceful, serene afternoon,
so I just had to capture the moment.

We stayed in a pool-view room,
but they also have pool-access rooms,
and the suites seemed to be located in a separate dedicated wing.

Just sitting there doing absolutely nothing
felt incredibly healing.
Take me back to Conrad Bali...

The building you see right in front
is where the Japanese restaurant is located,
and we actually had lunch here!
I'll share more about that in an upcoming post :)
You can actually have breakfast here too, just like at SUKU Restaurant.
After trying both during our 3-day, 2-night stay,
the menu options seemed pretty much the same,
so I'd recommend just going to whichever one is closer to your room!

Because the property is so grand, there's an endless number of
perfect spots to capture that "photo of a lifetime."
If you're someone who loves taking photos,
you could easily spend hours just doing that here.
While exploring, I also spotted a tennis court
and the fitness center, so I made a mental note of their locations.
And yes, I actually squeezed in a workout! Haha.

Heading back toward the main pool area~
With the ocean in the distance
and palm trees waving, it had those ultimate tropical vacation vibes!

The unoccupied sunbeds have towels neatly rolled up on them,
and as soon as you find a spot and sit down, a staff member
magically appears to spread the towels out for you.
They even bring you complimentary bottled water and mosquito repellent!

They also offer bicycle rentals, although it wasn't free.
You can also join morning yoga classes every day,
or pamper yourself with a high-quality spa session
(it's a bit pricey, but totally worth it).

I saw quite a few guests
riding their bikes along this path.

They even brought in real sand to create
There was also a swimming pool,
where kids were having a blast playing in the sand
and splashing around in the water.

Plus, with a dedicated kids' club,
it’s absolutely the perfect choice
for a family resort in Bali!

You can get everything done right inside the resort
and just unwind, making it the ultimate healing getaway.
I also loved how private and luxurious
the whole vibe felt.

On top of that, the family-friendly facilities
are so well thought out,
I’d highly recommend it for anyone traveling with kids.

I brought along the Conrad rattan bag that was left in our room,
and it matched the hotel's aesthetic perfectly! haha.

There were definitely more Western tourists than Asian tourists here,
which really gave it that authentic, far-away getaway feel.
Nusa Dua resorts tend to have a lot of Korean travelers,
so maybe that's why this spot felt
a little more exclusive and private to me.

Gotta take a few photos before jumping into the pool!~

And then we kicked off our swim session in style.
I actually learned how to swim underwater during our Gili trip,
and as we kept practicing our strokes,
an Australian couple came over to chat and ask us about it.
Haha, I guess we looked pretty funny! 😂

After swimming, wrapping myself in a beach towel and just lying down
made me so sleepy—it was the absolute perfect spot for a nap.
Pure happiness... pure healing... This is what vacation is all about!

After showering and changing,
we went to Suku Restaurant to watch the Kecak dance
and then fell fast asleep~ 💤

On our first day, we had breakfast at Suku Restaurant,
and on the second day, we tried the breakfast at RIN Restaurant.

While there's a buffet,
you can also order delicious à la carte dishes.
Unlimited orders!
Gorgeous views, delicious food...
I was so happy...

A local had told me that
the sunrise at Conrad Bali is absolutely stunning,
and now I completely see why.
It felt like I witnessed one of the most legendary sunrises of my life.

When we did the Mount Batur sunrise tour,
it was so cloudy that we couldn't see the sunrise properly,
but this gorgeous view completely made up for it!

At RIN Restaurant, we also made sure to order some fresh mango on the side.
Seasonal fruits like mangoes and mangosteens
can actually be requested separately!
Keep this little pro-tip in mind~

I heard they host weddings at the resort,
and this beautiful spot looked like the wedding venue.
Exchanging vows against this stunning ocean backdrop
with your loved ones and family around
would make for a truly unforgettable, magical wedding.

When it comes to travel, while where you go matters,
where you choose to rest and recharge
is just as—if not more—important.
In that sense, Conrad Bali was easily
one of the most satisfying stays
of all my trips to Bali.
If I ever head back to Bali,
I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book this place again.
If you're currently planning your dream escape to Bali,
I highly, highly recommend putting Conrad Bali on your list.
