European Elegance Meets Balinese Charm

Doesn't the lobby look like a slice of Southern Europe?

The lobby area feels wonderfully intimate, almost like stepping into a private, curated residence rather than a hotel.

Every single corner is decorated with stunning, high-end interior pieces.

Passing through the lobby reveals the breathtaking main pool.

This is the ultimate photo spot!

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is incredibly peaceful and serene.

When we first arrived, the pool area was completely empty, making us wonder if we were the only guests! A few others appeared by afternoon, but it remained blissfully quiet throughout our stay.

The Superior Room Experience

We booked a Superior Room and requested twin beds in advance.

The moment we opened the door, we were in awe of the stunning design—I couldn't stop taking photos!

The bathroom allows you to easily screw on your own shower filter, which was a huge plus.

Our room was tucked away in a corner, giving it a secluded, private villa feel that made our stay feel very exclusive.

Hotel Amenities: Breakfast & Gym

This is the gorgeous breakfast restaurant area.

Even the tables are decorated with fresh flowers—the attention to detail is unmatched.

While the breakfast selection wasn't massive, every single dish was incredibly delicious.

You can order one main dish from the à la carte menu, while bread, yogurt, and cereals are available buffet-style.

I ordered the Nasi Goreng, and it was absolutely outstanding.

If you're unsure what to order, definitely go for the Nasi Goreng!

The gym at The Colony Hotel feels like a stylish private fitness studio.

It's housed in a standalone glass pavilion—cozy but surprisingly well-equipped with great machinery.

With glass walls on all sides, it gets beautiful natural light and offers a perfectly quiet workout space.

Unfortunately, I injured my foot during this Bali trip, so I couldn't use the gym myself, which was such a bummer!

If keeping up with your fitness routine is a priority while traveling, you will absolutely love this gym space.

Next Door Gem: Kim Soo Home Decor

One of Bali's most famous bohemian-chic home decor shops, "Kim Soo," is right next door!

They literally share a wall, so I walked right over for some retail therapy immediately after breakfast.

There is also a lovely cafe inside the shop serving great brunch and coffee.

If you're staying at the hotel for a few days, grabbing lunch here is a must.

The store is packed with gorgeous, sophisticated Balinese-chic home decor items.

Prices aren't dirt cheap, so you might want to watch your wallet! Haha.

I fell in love with so many pieces that I ended up buying some items for myself and beautiful gifts for my friends.
