Cafe Wadingding is conveniently located near the bustling Jiefangbei central district in Yuzhong District, Chongqing.

You can easily walk here from either Xiaoshizi or Jiefangbei subway stations, making it the perfect follow-up stop after your visit to Luohan Temple without needing any extra public transport.

The cafe is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the views, whether you prefer a daytime coffee or a relaxed evening drink.

After exiting Luohan Temple, look for the S95 Chaociyuan Center building. Take the escalator up to the 5th floor, and you'll find the cafe easily.

Cafe Ambiance & Insider Tips

Once you reach the 5th floor, walk straight ahead to find Cafe Wadingding. The interior features a sophisticated, dark color palette that beautifully complements the ancient temple view outside.

It's not a massive cafe, but every single seat offers a fantastic view through the expansive windows.

Seating arrangements are mostly for two or four people, so it might be a bit tricky for larger groups to sit together comfortably.

Even though the window seats were taken when I arrived, I snagged a comfortable spot with a backrest a bit further back. Honestly, with such a clear view of Luohan Temple from every angle, there really isn't a bad seat in the house!

Here's a fun insider tip: every 20 to 30 minutes, a cool smoke effect billows up, adding a mystical touch to the view. This unique feature is one of the main reasons the cafe became such an Instagram sensation!
