How to Fill Out the China Electronic Arrival Card

The website often provides automatic translation, making the process quite straightforward!

1) Select 'Electronic Arrival Card' at the top, then click 'Confirm'.

2) Choose 'Passport' as your travel document type. Click the camera icon to upload your passport information.

3) Enter your basic information, including your English name, gender, and date of birth.

(*Remember to fill in all fields marked with an asterisk!)

4) Input your arrival transportation details. When selecting your arrival city, Yantai might not appear immediately.

First, choose 'Shandong' as the province,

then you can find 'Yantai' in the list of detailed cities.

5) Declare your travel information: purpose of visit, itinerary, duration of stay, and your address in China.

6) After submission, you'll be asked if you want to add companions.

If you are traveling with others, select 'Yes' and repeat the same process for each companion.

7) Finally, click 'Submit' and complete the digital signature.

8) You will then see your immigration QR code, which you can present upon arrival.

Upon arriving at Yantai Airport, as you head towards immigration, airport staff might direct you to fill out an arrival card.

Thanks to completing my electronic arrival card beforehand, I was able to bypass this step and proceed directly to the immigration counter.

The immigration officer asked a few simple questions in English, such as my purpose of visit and duration of stay. The whole process was quick and hassle-free, taking only about 20 minutes!
