My 2026 Visit to Caribbean Bay!
A Mom's Review: Visiting with a 1st Grader

My water-loving first-grader,
Melody, and I kicked off
the water park season early this year!
Since Melody can easily splash around for six hours straight,
I think we'll be hunting down water spots
all the way through September! haha
This time, we headed to Caribbean Bay!
To be honest, this was my very first time visiting
since becoming a mom.
I think I might have been even more excited than she was!
I've gathered some essential tips from our trip, so let's dive right in~
Pro Tip #1: Always Opt for the Afternoon Pass

Melody and I slept in,
had a hearty brunch, and hit the road,
arriving in Yongin around 2:00 PM.
An all-day pass felt like it would be too exhausting,
so we chose the Afternoon Pass—
and it was hands down the best decision.
The Afternoon Pass allows entry
starting at 2:30 PM.
If you're visiting with kids,
I highly recommend grabbing a delicious lunch outside first,
then heading in with an afternoon ticket.
Truth be told, Caribbean Bay doesn't have many
great, kid-friendly dining options inside.

Entering around 2:30 PM,
splashing around, and grabbing snacks in between
will keep everyone energized right up until closing time.
For snacks,
the Jumbo Chicken Leg and churros are highly recommended.
The Jumbo Chicken Leg is around ~$5,
which is a much better value than a standard hot dog for ~$4!
Plus, they recently opened
Blue Bottle Coffee and Juicy inside,
so you can grab some actually delicious coffee and fresh juice!
We stayed until the very end—
riding the last waves in the outdoor wave pool and floating along the lazy river—
getting home around 9:00 PM.
For reference, during our visit on 06/06/2026,
the outdoor wave pool closed at 6:00 PM, other attractions closed at 7:00 PM,
and the shower facilities wrapped up at 8:00 PM.
Before falling asleep,
Melody kept talking about how it was "the most perfect day."
Seeing her so happy made all my parenting fatigue
melt away instantly!
Pro Tip #2: Secure an Indoor Locker

An indoor locker costs ~$3 per locker.
It's spacious enough for two people,
so a mom and daughter can easily share one!
Some people use the free outdoor lockers,
but if you're a mom managing a young daughter—
showering, changing, and blow-drying hair—
paying for the indoor locker
is ten times more convenient.
The indoor lockers are located on the 4th floor,
making it super easy to meet up with family members (like dad) afterwards.
It just makes the entire arrival and departure process
feel so much more comfortable and organized!
Pro Tip #3: Reserve a Rental Chair!
If you take away only one thing from this post,
let it be this: reserve a rental chair in advance!
If you have toddlers
or elderly family members,
consider booking an entire private village cabana!
As of June 2026:
Outdoor Rental Chair: ~$13
I cannot stress this enough.
Kids need to rest between swim sessions,
and parents need a comfortable spot to catch their breath.
Unless you want to save ~$13
just to end up sitting on the scorching hot concrete, clutching your bags
while trying to eat a snack,
just book the chair without hesitation!

I booked ours online ahead of time
via the Caribbean Bay app and luckily scored
a spot right in the shade, which was an absolute lifesaver!

It's perfect for keeping your bags secure,
and having a dedicated home base is essential
if you plan to stay for hours.
They offer both outdoor
and indoor rental chairs.
Some outdoor chairs are set on a sandy beach area,
allowing kids to play in the sand right by your lounge chair!

Check the park map beforehand
and try to book a chair near the attractions
where you'll spend the most time.

Gold 2 Season 30% Discount: 07/17 to 08/17

Right now, Caribbean Bay is
completely decked out in Sanrio decorations!!

Let's face it: standard admission to "Cabi"

We are already heading into the peak Gold Season!
Gold 1 Season runs from 07/03 to 07/16,

The discount rates vary, so if you don't book in advance,
