Caribbean Bay Afternoon Pass

Date of Visit: Saturday, July 25, 2026
In sizzling hot weather like we've been having lately,
nothing beats escaping to a refreshing water park, right?
And when summer rolls around, there's always one place that tops the list!
That's right—Caribbean Bay.

As the largest water park in Korea, located right inside the Everland Resort,
it features heart-pumping, world-class slides like
Mega Storm, Tower Boomerango, and Aqua Loop,
as well as massive wave pools, lazy rivers, and dedicated kids' zones.
It's the ultimate summer playground for visitors of all ages!

I recently made a splash here on Saturday, July 25th!
Knowing that staying from opening to closing would totally drain my energy,
I opted for the Afternoon Pass.
And honestly, it was the best decision. I still managed to conquer two of the most popular slides,
and thanks to the ongoing "Cabyland" (2-Park) promotion,
I scored free admission to Everland right after!
I wrapped up my epic day with the Night Safari and the spectacular fireworks show—
talk about the perfect summer day trip.
What is the "Cabyland" Promotion? A fantastic limited-time seasonal offer! When you buy a Caribbean Bay ticket (Full-day or Afternoon Pass), you get free admission to Everland on the very same day. *Note: You must enter and use Caribbean Bay first before heading over to Everland. |
So, in this guide, I'll walk you through
Caribbean Bay Afternoon Pass hours and pricing,
insider discount tips, water park packing essentials,
and my real-life ride wait times from my Saturday, July 25th visit!
Here is everything you need to know for your perfect visit.

Caribbean Bay
Full-Day Pass vs. Afternoon Pass

Category | Full-Day Pass | Afternoon Pass |
Entry Time | From opening time | Admission from 2:30 PM onwards |
Access Hours | All day long | Approx. 5–6 hours (Until park closing) |
Price | More expensive than the Afternoon Pass | Cheaper than the Full-Day Pass |
Recommended For | Those who want to ride as many attractions as possible | Those looking for a casual visit or a fun date |
Pros | Ample time to enjoy all attractions leisurely | Less physically demanding and offers great value for money |
Cons | Highly physically draining | May be tough to ride all the popular slides due to peak-hour lines |
Caribbean Bay admission tickets
are divided into Full-Day and Afternoon Passes,
and your overall satisfaction will depend on your goal for the day.
At standard pricing,
a Full-Day Pass is ~$51 and an Afternoon Pass is ~$35.
But let's be real—nobody actually pays full price!

Here is a quick look at the Peak Season (Gold Season)
Full-Day vs. Afternoon Pass prices across different online booking platforms.
Currently, Yeogi Eottae offers a ~$2 discount on bookings over ~$38,
making it the cheapest option if you are buying tickets for two or more people!
(Prices vary depending on the season and active promotions, so be sure to compare before booking!)

2. Caribbean Bay Essentials
What should you absolutely pack?

Since you'll be spending a long time in the water at Caribbean Bay,
how well you pack your essentials
will completely make or break your experience.
Essential Item | Why You Need It |
Swimsuit | Required to enter |
Water shoes | Super helpful for hot ground and walking around |
Waterproof phone pouch | For taking photos and staying in touch on your phone |
Towel | Available for rent, but bringing your own is much easier *On-site rental fee : Medium towel ~$2, Large towel ~$5 |
Life jacket | Available for rent, but highly recommend bringing your own if you have one *On-site rental fee: ~$5 |
Sunscreen | An absolute must for outdoor pools and slides |
Change of clothes & underwear | To change into when heading home |
Plastic bag / Wet bag | To pack your wet swimwear (No plastic bags provided in the locker rooms) |
Power bank | Your battery will drain fast from taking photos and videos |
Do not forget water shoes!
To be honest, my biggest regret from this trip to Caribbean Bay
was not bringing water shoes.
I thought, "I'll just buy a pair there," and went empty-handed,
but once I checked out the shop,
they were priced around ~$17 to ~$18.
You can easily get them online or at Daiso for around ~$6,
so buying them on-site felt like a bit of a rip-off.

In the end, I decided not to buy them, but...
the ground is quite bumpy in many areas,
and walking barefoot on the blazing hot concrete
was way harder than I expected!
Especially since there's a lot of walking between the slides,
water shoes are pretty much essential.

The same went for towels.
Since I didn't bring a towel either,
I had to rent one there,
with a rental fee of ~$2 for a medium towel and ~$5 for a large towel
to use during the day.

If you have a life jacket, definitely bring it!
To access the wave pool, a life jacket is mandatory,
and renting one costs ~$5.
Honestly, it felt like a bit of a waste for just a single day's use.
While I was there, I kept thinking,
"I might as well just buy one."
After all, you can reuse it whenever you go to other water parks,
valleys, or the beach in the future.

So if you have a life jacket at home, make sure to pack it,
and if you plan on visiting water parks often,
it might be a great idea to invest in one now.
3. Gold Season Weekends
What are the wait times for the slides?
Based on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 15:30 to 16:30

Right after entering at 2:30 PM,
I watched a show and hung out at the outdoor wave pool,
and then scouted out the attractions from 15:30 to 16:30!
Here are the real-time wait times for the slides
that I gathered firsthand:
Ride / Attraction | Estimated Wait Time |
Mega Storm | 100 mins |
Tower Boomerango | 100 mins |
Tower Raft | 60 mins |
Wild Blaster A | 60 mins |
Wild Blaster B | 60 mins |
Aqua Loop | 30 mins |

We ended up riding two attractions: the Wild Blaster and the Aqua Loop!
Although the estimated wait time board showed 60 minutes and 30 minutes respectively,
we actually got to ride about 10 minutes faster than expected!
Since the crowd kept moving,
it felt like the line was shrinking
a bit faster than the estimated wait times!

On the other hand, the Mega Storm and Tower Boomerango
consistently maintained a wait time of around 100 minutes
until we left at around 6 PM. They certainly lived up to their reputation as Caribbean Bay's most popular attractions!
If riding the Mega Storm and Tower Boomerango is a must for you,
arriving right at opening time or grabbing a full-day pass
seems like a much better strategy.
Here are the Gold Season rates for the Caribbean Bay
Full-Day / Afternoon Passes across different booking platforms.
Currently, Yeogi Eottae offers a ~$2 discount on purchases over ~$38,
making it the cheapest option if you are booking for 2 or more people!
(Prices vary depending on the season and ongoing promotions, so make sure to compare before booking!)

4. Things to Do & See
(Water Music Pool Party / Sanrio Collaboration / Yummy Eats)

Caribbean Bay Water Music Pool Party
You absolutely cannot miss this!
July 4 – August 15, 2026 (Runs on selected dates)
The absolute highlight of Caribbean Bay's summer season!
It's none other than the Water Music Pool Party.
As Cabi's signature summer festival, you can splash around in the 2.4m-deep outdoor wave pool
while vibing to DJ performances and live K-POP artist stages.
The best part? There is no extra ticket required—it's completely free
for any visitor to enjoy!

Dancing along to the exciting music, getting hit with the giant water cannons,
and seeing everyone projected on the massive screens—
I had an absolute blast!

Sanrio Collaboration
June 12 – September 6, 2026
The theme of this year's Caribbean Bay is none other than
'Hello Summer Party'!
You can meet adorable Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll,
My Melody, and Pompompurin
all over Cabi!

The most popular photo zone is the
island right in the middle of the outdoor wave pool!

There were tons of cute Sanrio decorations in Food Town
and along the main pathways, which made just walking around
super fun.
On top of that, a total of 34 limited-edition merchandise items are on sale!
You can grab all kinds of goods like plushies, keyrings, waterproof phone pouches,
pouches, tumblers, and lifestyle products.

Yummy Eats
Spending a full day playing at Cabi burns a lot of energy,
so fueling up along the way is absolutely essential!
There are food courts and snack bars scattered all over the park,
meaning you can easily enjoy everything from a hearty meal to quick bites!

Especially at Food Town, they sell
limited-edition seasonal menus inspired by the characters—
like the Kuromi Burger, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin treats—
adding a whole extra layer of delicious fun!

Can you bring your own food?
Before visiting, the question I was most curious about
was definitely about the outside food policy.
Basically, bringing outside food into Caribbean Bay is restricted.
However, you are allowed to bring in the following items!
Allowed Food Items |
Bottled water / Canned drinks Baby food and therapeutic diets / Seedless and peeled fruits |
Any other food can be left at the
free food storage lockers near the entrance,
and you can enjoy them at the picnic zone outside before re-entering.

They even provide refrigerated lockers,
so you can safely store easily perishable foods like
gimbap, sandwiches, and fresh fruits.
