A Review of a Luxurious Trip
For that price, you could easily get a 5-star suite in Bali
— or so I thought.
Before I visited myself,
I had the exact same thought.
But just one day after checking in,
I understood why people say you absolutely have to
experience Capella Ubud in Bali at least once.
In this post, based on my personal stay in a
Forest Tent room,
I've put together a real review, including how to book
at the best price right now.
Capella Ubud is a luxury tented camp resort nestled deep
in the heart of the Ubud jungle in Bali.
You might misunderstand due to the word 'camping,' but
it's actually a 5-star luxury resort that only borrows
the essence of camping!
The rooms are called 'tents,' not rooms, but once you step inside,
they're more spacious than most hotel suites and so luxurious
they'll leave you in awe!
The Forest Tent I stayed in is
among Capella Ubud's room types,
the one with the best jungle views.
Lying on the canopy bed, the sounds of the jungle drift
right through the tent fabric,
creating a truly authentic camping atmosphere.
I think this is what makes Capella Ubud truly special.

Honestly, with this list of inclusions,
you could happily spend a whole day just enjoying the camp without
worrying about extra costs — and a day wouldn't even be enough!
The Officers' Tent, in particular, is amazing because you can just drop
in without a reservation. It was perfect for enjoying
afternoon tea, playing board games,
shooting some pool, and sipping evening cocktails.
I really loved it.
