Bohol Airport Transfer Review: Panglao to Hotel via Klook

Bohol was my ultimate summer getaway destination!

Since my flight was scheduled to land late at night at 12:30 AM, securing a reliable airport pickup to my hotel for that first half-night stay was absolutely essential.

Plus, I didn't have any Philippine Pesos (PHP) on me yet, so booking and paying in advance online was a lifesaver!

Honestly, having your transit pre-arranged makes the whole journey so much smoother.

Standard low-cost carrier legroom here...

But hey, there was a power outlet right under the seat, so I could charge my phone during the flight. I flew on Jin Air flight LJ043.

I booked my airport pickup in advance through Klook.

The booking process was super simple—just entered my flight number, name, and email address, and that was it!

What's great about entering your flight number is that the local operator tracks your flight status in real-time, meaning you don't have to worry about delays.

I booked a private car for 2 people and 2 bags for just around ~$7. Incredible value!

The driver will wait for up to 60 minutes from your actual flight landing time.

Waiting Time Policy

The driver waits for 60 minutes from the actual landing time. If your flight is delayed, please contact the driver to confirm if they can extend the wait. If the driver waits beyond the free waiting window, a surcharge of ₱200 per minute applies, payable directly to the driver in cash.

Flight Delay Policy

If you selected the flight arrival-based option, the operator will automatically adjust your pickup time if your flight is delayed or rescheduled.

I was a bit anxious because we had one 26-inch and one 24-inch suitcase, but the booking option I selected was technically for two 24-inch bags.

Thankfully, the driver loaded them up with absolutely no issues.

What a relief! haha

Bohol Panglao Airport is very compact.

Once you step outside the terminal, you'll immediately see coordinators holding up signs.

Just look for the Klook sign with your name on it! lol

Since we cleared customs pretty quickly, I forgot to snap a photo of the holding sign, oops!

We got a compact Toyota sedan. The driver was incredibly polite, didn't make awkward small talk, and let us relax and chat during the ride.

He helped us load and unload all our heavy bags.
