Bateaux Mouches Paris Cruise 2026: Booking Guide & Best Times
Embark on a magical Bateaux Mouches cruise in Paris! See iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower from the Seine. Learn how to book tickets easily and find the best times for an unforgettable experience.
When I was planning my trip to Paris, one of the absolute must-do experiences on my list was
riding the Bateaux Mouches Seine River cruise.
With Paris's most iconic landmarks—like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Musée d'Orsay—lined up beautifully along the Seine,
the idea of seeing them all at once from the water was incredibly alluring.
Once I actually got on board, seeing these historic sights from a whole new perspective was pure magic,
and the photos I took from the water turned out even more gorgeous than I expected.
Booking your tickets online in advance is much cheaper than buying them on-site,
and it's super convenient because you can board just by showing your e-ticket QR code.
So, I’ve put together everything you need to know: how to book, the timetables, where to board,
and the best times to go for the ultimate experience.

1. Bateaux Mouches Booking Guide & Ticket Prices

While you can purchase tickets right at the dock,
I highly recommend booking them in advance.
We bought our e-tickets online before our trip, and it was a breeze.
We just showed our QR codes and boarded right away, with absolutely
no need to wait in line to exchange them for paper tickets.
Best of all, it’s way cheaper.
The standard walk-up adult fare at the official ticket booth is €20,
which is about ~$22 at current exchange rates,
but booking through travel sites can save you anywhere from ~$3 to more than ~$10!
Here is a quick price comparison across the major travel platforms:
Klook | Trip.com | KKday |
~$20 | ~$11 | ~$20 |
While Klook and KKday are still cheaper than the walk-up price,
MyRealTrip and Trip.com are currently running
insane promotions, making them by far the cheapest options.
Trip.com is offering almost half off right now!
Since the Euro is quite strong these days, I highly recommend booking early to save some precious travel cash.

When you book through a travel site, you'll select a departure date,
but you can't reserve a specific time slot.
If you have a particular sunset or night cruise in mind,
it's best to arrive about 30 minutes early to secure your spot.

2. Timetable

According to the official website, the Bateaux Mouches sightseeing cruise
operating hours vary slightly depending on the season.
During peak travel seasons, departures are more frequent and run much later.
✔️ April to August
Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
*In July and August, the last departure is at 11:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
✔️ August to October
Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
✔️ November to March
Operating Hours: 10:15 AM - 9:30 PM
Frequency: Every 45 minutes
*Runs every 30 minutes after 4:00 PM

It’s always a good idea to double-check the schedule closer to your travel date,
as exact departure times can vary based on passenger volume
and the water levels of the Seine River.
Since the cruises run quite frequently, you can easily catch the next one if a boat fills up,
but arriving slightly early for popular time slots will definitely give you peace of mind.
3. Where to Board

When heading out for a Seine River cruise in Paris,
boarding locations can vary depending on the operator.
For tickets booked via MyRealTrip and Trip.com, the boarding point is
Here is the Bateaux Mouches boarding pier near the Pont de l'Alma.
You can find the exact location on Google Maps via the link below.
📍 Pont de l'Alma
Pont de l'Alma, Port de la Conférence, 75008 Paris, France
Paris is incredibly walkable, with many major attractions located close to one another,
and the Bateaux Mouches boarding pier is no exception!
It’s just an 18-minute walk from the Musée de l'Orangerie, a 23-minute walk from the Champs-Élysées,
and a 17-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.
If you plan your itinerary around one of these three spots before boarding,
it fits perfectly into your day of exploring!

Starting from the boarding pier,
the boat glides past Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, and the Conciergerie,
then loops back around Île de la Cité and the Musée d'Orsay
before heading straight towards the Eiffel Tower.
Every single landmark along the way is absolutely stunning,
and since the sky was so exceptionally clear on the day we went,
every view felt like a postcard come to life.

The exact moment we cruised down the Seine and saw the Eiffel Tower loom ahead,
an involuntary "Wow!" slipped right out of our mouths.
It has truly become one of the most unforgettable moments of our entire trip.
4. Recommended Times to Ride

The whole vibe of the Bateaux Mouches cruise changes completely depending on when you climb aboard.
Of course, Paris is so gorgeous that
you'll have an amazing time no matter what hour you choose,
but my absolute personal recommendation is sunset!

At first, you get to see Paris in the bright daylight,
and then, as the sun begins to set, the sky shifts colors minute by minute,
bathing all the historic buildings in a warm, golden orange glow!
You get to witness the bright daylight, the golden hour, and the magical twilight
all in one single ride. It’s definitely the best way to get
the absolute most bang for your buck!
.

Here's a quick breakdown of what to expect during each time slot:
🔅Daytime🔅
Great for taking in all the architectural details of the buildings.
Front-lit sunshine makes it incredibly easy to snap great portraits.
🌇Sunset🌇
Enjoy changing views and golden-gilded architecture.
On cloudy or overcast days, the effect might be a bit underwhelming.
🌃Night / After Dark🌃
Catch the glittering lights of the illuminated Eiffel Tower.
Admire the glowing night views of Paris's historic bridges and monuments.

The Eiffel Tower is stunning at any time of day,
but there is something magical about seeing it painted in sunset orange!!
And seeing this view right from the river? Absolutely breathtaking... ❤️
