Embark on an unforgettable half-day Gaudi tour in Barcelona! This Memento Tour review covers the best sights, exclusive access, and why a car tour is a game-changer.

Planning a trip to Barcelona? A Gaudi tour is an absolute must-do!
With so many options out there, from different itineraries to varied inclusions, choosing the right one can be tricky.

I recently experienced the Memento Tour's Gaudi Humanities Half-Day Car Tour booked through MyRealTrip, and I highly recommend it!

Aside from Casa Batlló, both Plan A and Plan B follow the same itinerary.
💡 Plan B offers exclusive entry to Casa Batlló before opening hours.
Plan A allows for purchasing a Casa Batlló Gold Ticket (includes full access to all floors, augmented reality tablet, and headset).
If you're keen on seeing the interior of Casa Batlló, keep these options in mind when booking!
‼️ Remember, on-site payments must be made in cash (Euros)!
My Gaudi Tour Experience
Being more of a morning person (or rather, not a super early riser!), I opted for Plan A.

The tour kicks off in front of Casa Batlló, where we gathered and picked up our audio receivers.
(Don't forget to bring your own earphones, or you can purchase a pair on-site for 1 Euro).

After a fascinating explanation of Casa Batlló, we took a short walk to Casa Milà.

Next, we hopped on our private tour bus and headed to the iconic Park Güell.

At the entrance of Park Güell, our guide provided an overview of the viewing routes and explanations before setting a meeting time.
Once inside, we were free to explore the park at our own pace.

We even got to snap some photos inspired by Salvador Dalí!

Winter in Spain was surprisingly warm and sunny, making it perfect for sightseeing.

And of course, the famous lizard mosaic at Park Güell!
Be prepared for crowds around it, as everyone wants a photo with this iconic creature!
After soaking in the beauty of Park Güell, we got back into our comfortable vehicle and made our way to the magnificent Sagrada Familia.

Our guide led us, encouraging us to keep our heads down until the perfect moment.
Then, with a dramatic "Now!" cue, we looked up, and there it was – the breathtaking panoramic view of the Sagrada Familia!
Hearing the "Sanctus" music as I first laid eyes on it was an truly awe-inspiring experience.

Our guide pointed out a fantastic photo spot directly across from the Sagrada Familia.
The view was incredible, and with fewer people around, it was perfect for getting some amazing solo shots.

The illuminated facade is also stunning, so I highly recommend seeing it at night too!
❗️ The tour concludes outside the Sagrada Familia; internal entry requires a separate ticket.
Since the tour finishes at 1:30 PM,
💡 if you plan to visit immediately after, aim for a 1:45 PM entry ticket.
If you prefer to grab lunch first, a 3:30 PM ticket would be ideal.
I purchased a ticket that included both interior access and a trip up the towers.

Personally, I found the mesh fencing on the towers a bit disappointing as it obstructed the views.
Next time, I'd probably skip the tower climb.
WHY Memento Tour?
Our guide masterfully intertwined the life of Gaudi the architect with Gaudi the man.
Seeing his masterpieces through the lens of his personal journey, rather than just from a purely architectural perspective, was incredibly fascinating.
Our guide also did an amazing job keeping the energy up with perfectly timed music throughout the tour!
(Their pick, Ed Sheeran's "Barcelona," is still on my playlist!).
🚐 Enjoy comfortable transfers in a private vehicle.
This car tour is especially recommended for those traveling with parents or young children! ‼️
Other highlights included:
▶ No minimum participant requirement
▶ Our guide's thoughtful attention to detail, helping us capture incredible photos.
