1. Bangkok Film Lab LERT's Location
Between Ratchathewi and Siam BTS Stations
LERT's, a popular film development spot in Bangkok, is conveniently located between the Ratchathewi and Siam stations on Bangkok's BTS Skytrain.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Siam Discovery, one of Siam's major shopping malls.
📍 LERT's
24, 1 Soi Kasem San 1, Khwaeng Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10330 태국
While you can certainly take a taxi, we highly recommend public transport. After experiencing Bangkok's notorious traffic jams a few times, you'll understand why the BTS is often the better choice!
LERT's is open daily from 1 PM to 8 PM, so you can easily stop by on a weekend.

And even if the store is closed, don't worry! There's a convenient drop-off box outside where you can leave your film for development anytime.

2. LERT's Bangkok Information and Prices
Standard Color Film Development from 200 THB
The ambiance of LERT's, from the exterior drop-off box to the interior, is absolutely charming. It feels like stepping into a cool vintage shop in the US!

One thing to note is that LERT's specializes in film development and does not sell film cameras or digital cameras.
However, you can purchase camera film there. All film development and purchases are strictly cash or QR code payments only. So, make sure to bring plenty of cash when you visit!

While they don't accept cards, LERT's often has great deals like 'buy 2 get 1 free' or 'buy 3 get 1 free' on film rolls, making it a budget-friendly option if you have cash on hand.

If you're unsure which film to choose, they have a helpful film book available. You can browse it to select the perfect film based on your desired color tones for cityscapes, sunny days, or beach scenes.

3. Our Experience with Same-Day Scans at LERT's Bangkok
Beautifully Scanned Photos, Full of Character
As a foreign visitor, you can request to receive your developed film files via email. The owner at LERT's speaks excellent English, which makes the whole process super smooth!
When you book your film development, they'll guide you through the process with handwritten notes, adding to the shop's charming, artistic vibe. Even the booking process itself feels wonderfully nostalgic!

Typically, if you drop off your film before 2 or 3 PM, you can get your scanned files on the same day. We visited around 2 PM and received our digital scans via email by early evening, just in time for dinner!
Below are some of the photos we had developed at LERT's! (For reference, the camera used was a Leica R4.)

While the Leica itself has a distinct aesthetic, the film development process is equally crucial. LERT's truly excels at bringing out the unique character of your film camera's shots.
If you're looking for a place to develop your film in Bangkok, we highly recommend checking out LERT's for its incredible vibe and quality results!
