Lumeria Yoga
Lumeria yoga - Ubud
📍 Lumeria Yoga
Jl. Raya Pengosekan, Ubud, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80571 Indonesia
✔ Location: Near Ubud Monkey Forest & Coco Mart
✔ Environment: Semi-outdoor open space
✔ Class Level: Beginner-friendly
✔ Shower/Changing Room: Available (The only one out of 3)
✔ Reservation: Advance online reservation or walk-in available

It's a semi-outdoor space open on all sides.
A cool breeze was blowing,
so I worried it might be hot,
but the class was surprisingly comfortable.
Throughout the class, the sound of birds,
the bleating of sheep raised at the resort,
and even the clouds in the blue sky
made the space itself feel like healing.

The Vinyasa class felt a bit disjointed in its flow,
so it might be a bit disappointing
for those who have practiced yoga for a long time.
However, it's the perfect level for beginners
or couples/families looking to break a light sweat.

There's also a cold plunge and sauna wellness area,
and with shower and changing rooms available,
it was convenient to continue my travels right after class.
This is the only one of the three locations that has shower facilities.

Since it's a natural environment, there are mosquitoes.
I got several bites that were itchy even after I returned to Korea.
They have mosquito repellent, so make sure to spray it often during class.
Joga Yoga
Joga Yoga - Canggu
📍 Joga Yoga
Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361 Indonesia
✔ Location: A bit tucked away from Canggu's bustling main street
✔ Environment: Indoor, air-conditioned (AC turned on upon request)
✔ Price: 140,000 Rupiah per session (walk-in)
✔ Space: Small-scale, 10-12 spots
✔ Booking: Check WhatsApp via Google Maps before visiting

Joga Yoga is the only one of the three studios with air conditioning,
offering a much-needed comfortable escape from the Bali heat
during your class.

This studio also runs yoga teacher training,
so the instructors are highly skilled.
When I visited, the male instructor was quite renowned in other areas,
and he provided truly active hands-on adjustments.

After a 75-minute Vinyasa class,
I felt the muscle soreness for two whole days!
The price is incredibly affordable by Korean standards, and the instructor's skill is undeniably excellent,
but I highly recommend checking the instructor and class level
via WhatsApp before your visit.

It might be challenging for beginners.
While they don't force you into poses, if you have a disc issue, yoga is absolutely not recommended!
This studio is best for those with some yoga experience.
If you're a beginner, make sure to inform the instructor about your level
before the class starts.
Puppy Yoga Bali
Puppy Yoga Bali - Changu
📍 Puppy Yoga Bali
Anginsepoi hotel, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361 Indonesia
✔ Address: Anginsepoi hotel, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Bali 80361
✔ Class Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
(45 min yoga + 15 min photo session)
✔ Price: 594,500 Rupiah (tax included)
✔ Age Restriction: 16 years and above
✔ Booking: Essential (no walk-ins on the day)
👉 Check Puppy Yoga Schedule and Book

Among the three studios,
Puppy Yoga might have the simplest yoga poses, but its
healing factor was undeniably the highest!
It doesn't matter if you're completely new to yoga.

It's essentially an hour of playtime with adorable puppies.
If you lie on your stomach, they'll climb onto your back;
if you stretch out, they'll come pitter-patter all over you!
I found myself focusing more on the puppies
than the instructor's moves.

Most of the puppies
are from a rescue shelter.
A portion of your participation fee goes towards supporting them,
so you can enjoy yourself while also contributing to a good cause!

It's best to take photos early during the photo session.
Once the puppies have had their treats, they tend to disperse!
Since you'll be interacting with the puppies for a long time,
those with sensitive skin might experience itchiness around their neck.
Remember to bring an allergy medication with you!
