I've put together a complete guide to the best Bali souvenirs, featuring everything from luxurious Sensatia Botanicals to affordable Deus apparel, trendy straw bags, and must-buy local supermarket snacks.

Bali Shopping List Overview
The variety of souvenirs you can pick up in Bali is incredible. Items range from small, budget-friendly keepsakes under ~$6 to stylish Deus Ex Machina t-shirts and caps starting around ~$32.

Sensatia Botanicals
Frequently featured as amenities in high-end luxury resorts, Sensatia Botanicals is an absolute must on any premium Bali shopping list.
The scents are wonderfully subtle, and just like Australia's Aesop, their products are crafted with natural ingredients. They're incredibly gentle on the skin, and the minimalist packaging makes them perfect for gifting.
If you're staying at a 4-star or 5-star resort in Bali, you'll likely have a chance to try their shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in your room first. Give them a spin, and then head to a store to stock up on your favorites!
With branches scattered across Seminyak Village, Ubud, Canggu, and beyond, it's super easy to fit a quick shopping spree into your itinerary.
Prices for Sensatia products generally range from ~$3 to ~$19, and they even offer large-sized hand washes.
Their highly popular body washes and hand creams can be purchased for around ~$10.
Deus Ex Machina Bali
Deus Ex Machina is originally an Australian brand, but it has a massive presence in Bali. The flagship Temple of Enthusiasm in Canggu is the biggest, but they also have great spots in Seminyak and Ubud—I made sure to check them all out!

Deus Ex Machina Canggu
They have so many different types of hats.
Even in hot Bali, they have jackets and windbreakers on display, making it a great place to bag a cool find!
The selection of short-sleeve tees was also way more diverse in both design and color.
The Canggu Deus (Deus Ex Machina) actually has an in-store cafe and even hosts art exhibitions. The variety is insane—jackets, crewnecks, hoodies, jeans, bags, you name it... There were so many things I wanted to buy! Both cash and card were accepted.
Deus Ex Machina Ubud Store
The Ubud location isn't particularly huge either.
I spotted a design I'd already seen at the Canggu Deus Ex Machina, and I just had to get it. When something keeps catching your eye, it means you have to buy it!
As souvenirs or gifts, T-shirts that say "Bali" on them are a great choice since you can't get them back home. They're slightly cheaper than in Korea and they have plenty of sizes, so I ended up taking home two of them.
✅ The prices were the same at each store, but the Canggu location definitely had the biggest selection of designs. I'd highly recommend doing your Deus shopping when you visit Canggu, Bali!
Deus prices in Bali are typically over ~$38 for a T-shirt. Hats are over ~$26, and there's a huge selection to choose from.

Bali Straw Bags (MAKAKA)
This is a brand famous for its Bali straw bags, often called Makaka or Macaca.
Located in Ubud, the storefront is absolutely beautiful, so we popped in to look around. Since they are made of waterproof plastic, they are perfect for resort wear! Plus, they come in bright, pop colors and all kinds of sizes.
While rattan bags used to be the go-to souvenir, it seems like straw bags are the trend these days. The vibrant colors are just so pretty.
The prices of Makaka straw bags are surprisingly affordable, starting from around ~$6 for smaller ones to under ~$19 for the larger bags.
They also had keyrings, which looked perfect for customizing your bags!
Bali Grocery Shopping
I ended up grocery shopping quite a few times during my Bali trip. While you can easily grab things at convenience stores, shopping at bigger marts like Coco Mart or Bintang Supermarket is much more budget-friendly.
The ultimate crowd-pleaser: Yaba Granola
Coconut chips — they had samples out to try, and oh my goodness, they are absolutely delicious. I bet 100% of you will fall in love with these.

Out of everything, I regretted not buying more of the coconut chips the most.
Most supermarket snacks are only about ~$1 each, so you'll want to buy a ton—just keep in mind that they take up quite a bit of space in your suitcase!
Recommended Shopping List & Pro Tips
✅ Instead of trying to get all your Bali shopping done in one place, it's much more fun to browse around the local shops as you explore different neighborhoods.
✅ For Sensatia Botanicals, head to their larger flagship stores in Ubud or Seminyak Village for the best experience.
✅ Deus Ex Machina has the biggest selection in Canggu, so I highly recommend checking out that branch! (Though you'll find similar great options in Ubud and Seminyak too).
✅ For local supermarket snacks, Bintang Supermarket in Seminyak or Coco Mart in Ubud are your best bets!
My pro tip for snack shopping: buy just one or two to taste-test during your trip, and then stock up on your absolute favorites on your last or second-to-last day!
✅ Some items can be more than twice as expensive at the airport, so it's a great idea to pick things up gradually as you wander around town.

Among the Deus stores in Bali, the Canggu branch is the most recommended as it is the largest and offers a wide variety of designs and colors. It also features an in-house cafe and exhibitions. The product prices are identical across all branches in Bali.
