Looking for a budget-friendly massage in Sanur, Bali? Sanctuary Toko offers fantastic Balinese massages for just around ~$8. Read our full review!

During our recent 2-night, 3-day trip to Sanur, Bali, my travel partner and I indulged in not one, but two fantastic massage experiences!
While one might expect lavish facilities from a spa, we discovered a true local gem that offered incredible value. Today, I'm thrilled to introduce you to Sanctuary Toko, a local massage spot where a 1-hour Balinese massage costs around 140,000 IDR (which was roughly ~$8 at the time of our visit), making it incredibly budget-friendly.
Both my companion and I were genuinely impressed with the quality of the massages here. It's truly a place worth checking out!

Affordable Sanur Massage: Sanctuary Toko Prices 2026

As of our last visit in late 2026, a 1-hour Balinese massage was just 140,000 IDR, which translates to approximately ~$8. A foot massage was slightly more at 150,000 IDR, about ~$8.

Keep in mind that currency exchange rates can fluctuate, so the USD equivalent might vary slightly. While Sanctuary Toko is a walkable distance from Icon Bali, it's always a good idea to use a map for your first visit to ensure you don't get lost!
Speaking of maps and getting around, you'll find yourself relying on apps like Grab and Google Maps quite a bit in Bali. We highly recommend getting an eSIM before you arrive to stay connected!
Our 1-Hour Balinese Massage Experience at Sanctuary Toko

Let's be clear: Sanctuary Toko in Sanur isn't aiming for a luxurious hotel spa vibe. But what it lacks in opulence, it makes up for in cleanliness and genuine care. The interior was impeccably tidy, and we even received a relaxing foot bath before our massage began.
The facilities are modest, but considering the incredibly low price, we really couldn't complain. For me, when choosing a massage spot during my travels, I prioritize hygiene and the actual massage quality over flashy decor. On those counts, Sanctuary Toko absolutely hit the mark!

Both my travel partner and I opted for the full-body Balinese massage.
Initially, I had a slight concern that a budget-friendly local massage might rush things, but those worries quickly vanished. The therapists were incredibly thorough and attentive, putting genuine effort into every stroke.
It wasn't just pressing on one spot for ages; instead, they worked meticulously over our entire bodies, releasing tension with precision. They also stuck strictly to the full 60-minute duration – no cutting corners at 55 minutes, which sometimes happens at other places!
My companion and I both agreed the massages were excellent. Considering the price point, around ~$8, Sanctuary Toko is definitely a place we'd return to when looking for a fantastic value massage in Sanur.

Feeling completely rejuvenated after our massages, we decided to leave a tip of 40,000 IDR, which is about ~$2. Remember, tipping isn't mandatory in Bali, but it's a wonderful way to show your appreciation if you're happy with the service!
