I've heard Sanur is quite popular with retired Australians, and it definitely showed! Compared to other parts of Bali, I noticed a good number of older Western travelers, which contributed to the wonderfully laid-back and peaceful atmosphere.

You can reach the Icon Bali Shopping Mall and Sanur Beach in just about 10 minutes using Grab or Bolt. What makes this place special is its location in a local residential area, guaranteeing a truly quiet and peaceful stay.

While it might not be within walking distance of the bustling main streets, the major upside is the complete absence of urban noise and crowds!

Overall, the accommodation boasts a minimalist and impeccably clean design.

On the ground floor, you'll find a communal open kitchen and a refreshing swimming pool, making it an ideal choice for both short-term visitors and those planning an extended stay in Bali.

I checked in with a staff member, but sometimes it's a contactless process, so make sure to keep an eye on your messages for instructions!

While the pool isn't huge, its sparse use means you can enjoy it at your leisure. For getting to larger supermarkets, shopping malls, or the beach, I'd recommend using a scooter or a taxi, as walking might be a bit challenging.
